- Η Εθνική Μετεωρολογική Υπηρεσία (ΕΜΥ, αγγλικά: Hellenic National Meteorological Service, HNMS) είναι ελληνική κρατική υπηρεσία που υπάγεται στις Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις και ειδικότερα στο Γενικό Επιτελείο Αεροπορίας (ΓΕΑ) και έχει σαν αποστολή τον προσδιορισμό και την πρόβλεψη των μετεωρολογικών συνθηκών, δηλαδή του καιρού.Για τον σκοπό αυτό διαθέτει ένα δίκτυο από ειδικούς μετεωρολογικούς σταθμούς από όπου συγκεντρώνει παρατηρήσεις. Με βάση αυτές καταρτίζει μετεωρολογικούς χάρτες και εκδίδει , τακτικά και έκτακτα, ιδιαίτερα χρήσιμα στις αεροπορικές και θαλάσσιες μεταφορές. (el)
