- حنظلة البادغيسي (؟ - 834 م/ 219 هـ) شاعر فارسي من أهل ولاية بادغيس الخراسانية. يعتبر من أول شعراء في العهد الطاهري وأول من نظموا أشعاراً باللغة الفارسية عموما ورد ذكرهم في المصادر التاريخية مثل لباب الألباب لمحمد عوفي. ينسب النظامي العروضي ديوان شعر إليه لكن ما بقي من أشعاره إلا 5 أبيات بالفارسية: مِهْتَري گَرْ بِه كامِ شیر دَر اَسْتْشُوْ خَطَر کُن زِ كامِ شير بِجُوييا بُزُرگي و عز و نعمت و جاهیا چو مَردانْتْ مَرگ روياروي مفادها أن الحياة في ركوب الصعاب ومواجهتها، فإما حياة تُسر الصديق وإمّا ممات يغيظ العدا. و: یارم سپند، گرچه بر آتش همی فکنداز بهرِ چشم، تا نرسد مر وُرا گزنداو را سپند و آتشْ ناید همی به کاربا رویِ همچو آتش و با خالِ چون سپند وبيت مفرد: کی سپزگی کشیدستی ز رقیبگر بدی یار مهربان با من (ar)
- Ḥanẓalah Badghisi or Ḥanẓalah of Badghis (Persian: حنظله بادغیسی; fl. about 850 A.D.) was one of the earliest Persian poets. Hanzalah was born in Badghis province of Afghanistan, and lived in the time of the Tahirids (820–872 AD), who gained independence of Great Khorasan from Abbasid Caliphate. Persian biographer Muhammad Aufi praises the verses of Hanzalah by saying the graceful flow of his expression is like the "water of Paradise, and his verses have the freshness of cool wine (shamul) and the agreeableness of the northern wind (shamal)." So well known were the poems of Hanzalah that they were worth gathering into a Persian divan, or collection, only a few fragments of which remain, however. (en)
