- تميزت حرب الاستقلال اليونانية (بالإنجليزية: Greek War of Independence) بوجود حربين أهليتين، وقد وقعت بين عامي 1823-1825. كان للصراع أبعادًا سياسية وإقليمية على حد سواء، وذلك كونه قد أثار حفيظة الروميليوتيين (شعب اليونان القارية) وسكان الجزر (أصحاب السفن، وخاصة من جزيرة هيدرا) ضد البيلوبونيز أو المورة. انتهت الحرب بتقسيم الأمة الفتية وإضعاف التجهيز العسكري للقوات اليونانية إلى حدّ كبير في مواجهة تدخل إيالة مصر القادم في الصراع. - Ο Ελληνικός Εμφύλιος της περιόδου 1823 - 1825 έλαβε χώρα κατά τη διάρκεια της Ελληνικής Επανάστασης ως ανταγωνισμός ισχύος για την ηγεσία της επαναστάσεως αλλά και του υπό διαμόρφωση νέου ελληνικού κράτους. Χωρίζεται σε δύο φάσεις: η πρώτη (Φθινόπωρο 1823 - Καλοκαίρι 1824) χαρακτηρίστηκε μόνο από έντονες πολιτικές διαμάχες μεταξύ Φιλικών και Κοτζαμπάσηδων, ενώ η δεύτερη (Ιούλιος 1824 - Ιανουάριος 1825) από εμφύλιες συρράξεις μεταξύ κυβερνητικών, υποστηριζόμενων από την Αγγλία, και Πελοποννησίων. - The Greek Civil Wars of 1823–1825 occurred alongside the Greek War of Independence. The conflict had both political and regional dimensions, as it pitted the Roumeliotes, who lived in mainland Greece, and shipowners from the Islands, primarily Hydra island, against the Peloponnesians or Moreotes. It divided the young nation, and seriously weakened the military preparedness of the Greek forces in the face of the oncoming Egyptian intervention in the conflict. (en)
- Les guerres civiles grecques de 1823-1825, en grec moderne : Ελληνικός εμφύλιος πόλεμος (1823–1825) / Ellinikós emfýlios pólemos, se déroulent parallèlement à la guerre d'indépendance grecque. Le conflit a des dimensions à la fois politiques et régionales, puisqu'il oppose lors d'une de ses phases les Rouméliotes, qui vivent en Grèce continentale, alliés aux armateurs des îles, principalement l'île d'Hydra, aux Péloponnésiens.
