George Cornell (c. 1928-March 9, 1966) was a British mobster and member of the Richardson Gang, who were scrap metal dealers. He was shot and killed by Ronnie Kray at The Blind Beggar public house in Tower Hamlets. Kray was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1969 and remained in prison until he died in 1995.
