- The Formula Ford Festival is an annual meeting of Ford-powered single-seat racing cars which is held at the end of the British racing season, at the Brands Hatch motor racing circuit in the county of Kent, in Southern England. The events are held over the course of a weekend and although various classes of past and present Formula Fords are present, the high point for many is the championship in which young but skilled drivers from Ford competitions in Europe and beyond race against one another. Often it is a rare chance to compare the skills of drivers who take part in different Ford competitions around the world. Many winners of the festival have gone on to enjoy professional careers in various branches of motorsport - including fourteen who have raced in Formula One. The event is administered by the British Racing and Sports Car Club. (en)
- Le Formule Ford Festival est une épreuve annuelle gérée par le British Racing and Sports Car Club mettant un point final à la saison de Formule Ford. Elle se déroule sur le Circuit de Brands Hatch depuis 1976 après s'être déroulée à Snetterton entre 1972 et 1975. La rencontre se déroule autour de plusieurs manches réservées chacune à une catégorie de monoplaces. Des pilotes des autres championnats sont présents. Elle fait figure de "coupe du monde" de Formule Ford. Entre 1972 et 1992, les monoplaces de Formule Ford sont mues par le moteur Ford Kent dérivé de la Ford Anglia. De 1993 à 2004, il a été remplacé par le Ford Zetec puis par le Duratec après 2004. Les moteurs Kent et Zetec sont employés dans les catégories junior. Après avoir accueilli plus de 100 participants dans les années 1990, la fréquentation du festival a regressé face à la baisse de son influence dans les carrières de pilotes, le dernier lauréat à avoir accédé à la Formule 1 est Anthony Davidson, vainqueur en 2000. Il accueille désormais entre 40 et 50 participants. (fr)
- Il Formula Ford Festival è un meeting annuale delle vetture da competizione motorizzate Ford che si tiene, in genere, alla fine della stagione di corse britannica, sul circuito di Brands Hatch, nel Kent. L'evento si svolge in un week-end e sebbene siano presenti molte classi di Formula Ford, presenti e passate, il momento più importante è il campionato nel quale si sfidano giovani e agguerriti piloti, provenienti da vari campionati di Formula Ford, europei e di altre parti del mondo. Molti vincitori del festival in seguito hanno avuto una carriera professionale nel mondo dei motori e finora 14 di loro hanno partecipato al campionato del mondo di Formula Uno. L'evento è gestito dal BRSCC. La prima volta, nel 1972, la manifestazione si tenne sul circuito di Snetterton, dove continuò a essere disputato fino al 1975, dopodiché ci si trasferì a Brands Hatch.
