- الحيز (بالإنجليزية: Compartment) (في علم التشريح) هو فضاء، غالباً ما يكون مُحاطاً باللفافات (حيز لفافي)، أو قد يكون مُحاطاً بالعظام مثل (بالإنجليزية: Brachial fascia). يختلف الحيز التشريحي عن الحيز في علم حركية الدواء والذي يُعرف بأنه حجم سوائل الجسم. تٌقسَّم أطراف جسم الإنسان إلى أطراف علوية وأطراف سفلية، وتٌقسَّم الأطراف العلوية إلى قطع مثل الذراع والساعد، والأطراف السفلية إلى فخذ وساق. إذا قطعنا هذه القطع عرضياً، يظهر إنهم مقسمون إلى العديد من الأقسام. وهذه الأقسام هي الأحياز اللفافية التي تتكون من نسيج ضام حاجز متين. ويكون لهذه الأحياز عادة إمداد دموي وعصبي منفصل عن ما يحيط بها، ولكن العضلات في كل حيز تُمد غالباً بنفس العصب. - Eine Muskelloge (Kompartiment) ist eine Gruppe von Muskeln, die durch eine Faszie begrenzt ist. Muskellogen finden sich zum Beispiel in den Extremitäten, wo jeweils Muskeln mit ähnlichen Aufgaben zu einer Muskelloge verbunden sind. Im Unterschenkel befinden sich zum Beispiel vier Muskellogen:
* die oberflächliche Flexorengruppe
* die tiefe Flexorengruppe
* die Peronaeusgruppe

- A fascial compartment is a section within the body that contains muscles and nerves and is surrounded by deep fascia. In the human body, the limbs can each be divided into two segments – the upper limb can be divided into the arm and the forearm and the sectional compartments of both of these – the fascial compartments of the arm and the fascial compartments of the forearm contain an anterior and a posterior compartment. Likewise, the lower limbs can be divided into two segments – the leg and the thigh – and these contain the fascial compartments of the leg and the fascial compartments of the thigh. (en)
