- الجامعة المصرية اليابانية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا (باليابانية エジプト日本科学技術大学) (بالإنجليزية Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology) هي جامعة حكومية مصرية ذات شراكة يابانية، أنشأت بقرار رئيس الجمهورية رقم 149 لسنة 2009 كجامعة أساسها البحث العلمي والتعليم المتنوع تقوم الجامعة على خلق تعاون مشترك بين حكومتي مصر واليابان من أجل تعزيز العلاقات المصرية اليابانية والتي من شأنها النهوض بالتنمية البشرية في المنطقة بأكملها، وذلك من خلال تعزيز الروابط والتعاون بين المؤسسات الأكاديمية المصرية واليابانية، وكذلك الشركات الصناعية لإجراء البحوث التطبيقية مع تطبيق المعايير التعليمية والسياسات والنظم اليابانية، والتعرف على أحدث التقنيات والأنظمة والتكنولوجيا اليابانية. تقع الجامعة المصرية اليابانية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا في مدينة برج العرب الجديدة بمحافظة الإسكندرية، وتم اختيار المدينة كونها إحدى المناطق الصناعية الكبرى في مصر والتي تحتوي على خمس مناطق صناعية متنوعة، وبها أكثر من 1300 منشأة صناعية وإنتاجية، وتستقطب عدد كبير من الاستثمارات الدولية، ويقع حالياً المقر المؤقت للجامعة وكذلك السكن الجامعي بالحي الثالث بمدينة برج العرب الجديدة وذلك إلى أن يتم الانتقال إلى مقرها الرئيسي الجديد بمنطقة الجامعات على مساحة 200 فدان وذلك فور الانتهاء من جميع الإنشاءات والمعامل والبنية التحتية الخاصة بالجامعة والتي تقدر تكلفتها بحوالي 3.75 مليار جنيه مصري، وافتتحت المرحلة الأولى منها في سبتمبر 2020. It is one of the leading research universities in Egypt and the Middle East. According to the 2021 Times Higher Education (THE) Arab University Rankings, E-JUST was ranked as the 2nd best university in Egypt and the 11th best university in the Middle East and North Africa region . By strengthening ties and cooperation between Egyptian and Japanese academic institutions, as well as industrial companies, E-JUST conducts state-of-the-art research with the application of Japanese educational standards, policies and systems, and uses the latest Japanese technologies and systems in its teaching and research. The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) is located in New Borg El Arab city in Alexandria Governorate. The city was chosen as one of the major industrial areas in Egypt, which contains five diverse industrial zones, has more than 1,300 industrial and production facilities, and attracts a large number of international investments; The temporary headquarters of the university and the university housing are currently located in the third district of New Borg El Arab city until it is moved to its new headquarters in the universities area on an area of 200 acres, once all the construction, laboratories and infrastructure of the university, which is estimated at a cost of about 3.75 billion Egyptian pounds, was inaugurated.
