- Dungeon Siege II ist ein Fantasy-Action-Rollenspiel für Windows und der zweite Teil der Dungeon-Siege-Spielreihe. Das Spiel wurde von Gas Powered Games entwickelt und von Microsoft Game Studios am 16. August 2005 in den USA sowie am 2. September 2005 in Europa veröffentlicht. Die Veröffentlichung der Erweiterung Dungeon Siege II: Broken World erfolgte am 22. August 2006 durch den Publisher 2K Games. Am 24. - Dungeon Siege II is an action role-playing video game, the sequel to 2002's Dungeon Siege. It was developed by Gas Powered Games and released in 2005. The story is a continuation of the Dungeon Siege storyline. An expansion Broken World was released in 2006. The game play centers around a class system of Melee, Ranger, Nature magic and Combat magic with the introduction of two additional classes in the expansion pack "Broken World". The player controlled protagonist finds themselves changing alliances once their friend, Drevin, is killed in the main story line and works to defeat the villain Valdis. Players can recruit NPC players with unique personalities and attributes which offers depth to game play. The game was favorably received upon release, scoring an 80 on Metacritic and winning PC Gamer US' "Best Roleplaying Game 2005" award. (en)

- Dungeon Siege II est un jeu vidéo de type action-RPG édité par Microsoft et réalisé par Gas Powered Games. Le jeu est également disponible sur Mac OS édité par Mac Soft. Ce deuxième opus reprend l'esprit hack'n slash de Dungeon Siege, en y apportant quelques modifications :
* les races disponibles pour le personnage sont : humains, elfes, dryades, semi-géants. On abandonne donc le squelette et le nain.
* un seul monde pour le solo et le multijoueur, et nombre de joueurs limités à 4 ou 6 joueurs selon le nombre de personnages engagés.
* moteur 3D revu à la hausse.
* gestion des personnages avec des branches d'aptitude dans chaque catégories : combat à distance, combat au corps à corps, magie naturelle et magie de guerre.
* le service Game Spy : il fournit une liste de parties multijoueur en cours, et héberge les fichiers de personnages.
