- Sexualität und Partnerschaft bei Menschen mit Behinderungen sind sexuelle und/oder partnerschaftliche Beziehungen und Handlungen zwischen Menschen, wo mindestens ein Partner von einer geistigen, körperlichen oder psychischen Behinderung betroffen ist. Eine sexuelle Präferenz für Menschen mit fehlenden Gliedmaßen wird auch als Amelotatismus bzw. Amputationsfetischismus bezeichnet. In der Gesellschaft nichtbehinderter Menschen leiden diese Verhältnisse oft unter einer Stigmatisierung oder werden ignoriert. Häufig in Kritik gerät hierbei zum Beispiel die Elternschaft und Schwangerschaft zwischen Partnern mit starken Behinderungen und einem nichtbehinderten Kind. (de)
- Sexuality and disability is a topic regarding the sexual behavior and practices of people with disabilities, who have a range of sexual desires and differ in the ways they choose to express their sexuality. Commonly, people with disabilities lack comprehensive sex education that would assist in their sexual lives. This roots from the idea that people with disabilities are asexual in nature and are not sexually active. Although some people with disabilities are asexual, it is a misconception to label all as such. Many people with disabilities lack rights and privileges that would enable them to have intimacy and relationships. When it comes to sexuality and disability there is a sexual discourse that surrounds it. The intersection of sexuality and disability is often associated with victimization, abuse, and purity. For physical disabilities that change a person's sexual functioning, such as spinal cord injury, there are methods that assist where needed. An individual with disabilities may enjoy sex with the help of sex toys and physical aids (such as bed modifications), by finding suitable sex positions, or through the services provided by a qualified sex worker. - Le handicap peut affecter le fonctionnement des organes sexuels d'une personne (à la suite de lésions de la moelle épinière par exemple) ou l'empêcher de se toucher. La sexualité et le handicap sont souvent appréhendés comme des tabous. Les familles et les institutions ont longtemps attribué aux handicapés une asexualité (« angélisation »), ou une bestialité. Les personnes handicapées vivant en institution voient souvent leurs droits à l'intimité non respectée. Les personnes handicapées subissent davantage de violences sexuelles que les valides. Depuis les années 2000 est discutée dans plusieurs pays d'Europe la possibilité de mettre en place des assistants sexuels pour personnes handicapées. Plusieurs associations françaises militent en ce sens. Les discours et textes de vulgarisation sur le handicap traitent d'ailleurs rarement de sexualité, et inversement le handicap est rarement abordé par les études statistiques, qualitatives ou quantitatives, sur la sexualité. Les études sur le handicap constituent elles-mêmes un domaine encore jeune. Dans de nombreux pays, le plaisir, le sexe et l'éducation sexuelle ont été largement ignorés. (fr)

Seks jest tematem ważnym dla niepełnosprawnych zarówno somatycznie jak i intelektualnie, stanowi jedną z podstawowych potrzeb człowieka, której zaspokajanie wiąże się z dobrostanem i kondycją psychiczną. Postuluje się wprowadzenie szeroko zakrojonej edukacji seksualnej osób z niepełnosprawnościami. (pl)
- A sexualidade e deficiência é uma temática da vida cotidiana de pessoas com deficiência. O senso comum delimita a vida sexual de pessoas com deficiência física como se esta atividade não existisse ou como um tabu. Por desconhecimento, uma série de suposições não verdadeiras é realizada, são criadas crenças e visões estereotipadas, além do preconceito. O aprendizado destas pessoas é realizado através de contato com outros indivíduos com deficiência. Com o advento da tecnologia, tornou-se um pouco mais fácil a busca de informações através, por exemplo da Internet, nas comunidades virtuais. (pt)
