Criado pelo alemão Jochen Dauer para equipe Dauer Racing, foi campeã das 24 Horas de Le Mans 1994, com apoio da Porsche. Produzido entre 1993 e 1997, o modelo era equipado com um motor de 6 cilindros contrapostos, produzido pela Porsche e preparado pela própria Dauer. A unidade desloca 3.0L com duplo cabeçote e 24 válvulas, com um turbo para cada bancada de 3 cilindros, cada uma contando um turbocompressor da marca KKK com pressão controlável variando de 1,8 a 2,5 bar, levando essa unidade a gerar até 730 cavalos vapor a 7600 rpm e torque maximo de 71,4 Kgf/m a 5000 rpm, porem cerca de 80% de seu torque já esta disponível a 2500 rpm. Capaz de levar o 962 Le Mans de 0 a 100 Km/h em 2,8 segundos, e de 0 a 200 Km/h em 7,3 segundos e velocidade máxima estimada em 402 Km/h, e preço na época de lançamento de US$1.000.000,00. (pt)
