- Daniel Isaac Feinstein, conegut com a Daniel Spoerri (Galați, Romania, 27 de març de 1930), és un artista i escriptor suís nascut a Romania, a qui s'ha anomenat «la figura central de l'art de postguerra europeu» i «un dels més famosos artistes del segle XX». Se l'associa amb el nou realisme i amb el moviment fluxus. Spoerri és conegut pels seus snare-pictures, un tipus assemblatges com un corrent dintre de l'art efímer en l'ús dels aliments. Daniel Spoerri va ser el primer a utilitzar elements comestibles com a obra d'art, on captura un grup d'objectes, com les restes de menjars d'individus, inclosos els plats, les cuberteries i els gots, tots els quals fixa damunt una taula, que després s'exposa sobre una paret. També és àmpliament aclamat pel seu Anecdoted Topography of Chance, una analogia literària dels seus snare-pictures, en què fa un mapa de cada objecte localitzat a la seva taula en un moment particular del temps, descrivint cada un amb els seus records personals que aquest objecte evoca. Spoerri is best known for his "snare-pictures," a type of assemblage or object art, in which he captures a group of objects, such as the remains of meals eaten by individuals, including the plates, silverware and glasses, all of which are fixed to the table or board, which is then displayed on a wall. He also is widely acclaimed for his book, Topographie Anécdotée* du Hasard (An Anecdoted Topography of Chance), a literary analog to his snare-pictures, in which he mapped all the objects located on his table at a particular moment, describing each with his personal recollections evoked by the object. Tworzył m.in. tableaux pieges (obrazy-pułapki), które stanowiły nowy rodzaj martwej natury. Były to naczynia, sztućce, resztki jedzenia i inne przedmioty przyklejone do blatu czy też innego podłoża, na którym zostały znalezione, po to, aby można je było eksponować w formie obrazu. Przykład można zobaczyć w Muzeum Sztuki w Łodzi (Zjedzone przez Katarzynę i przyjaciół, 1991). Spod jego rąk wyszło także wiele kolaży, w których często były zestawiane przedmioty konsumpcji z obiektami kultu.
