- Závod na 15 kilometrů klasicky mužů na Zimních olympijských hrách 2006 v Turíně se konal v areálu v dne 17. února 2006. Z českých závodníků se jej zúčastnili Lukáš Bauer a Petr Michl, přičemž Bauer zde získal stříbrnou medaili. Na osmém místě se původně umístil s časem 38:49,5 , v dubnu 2007 však Mezinárodní olympijský výbor kvůli podezření z dopingu během ZOH rozhodl o anulování jeho výsledků. (cs)
- Als Jocs Olímpics d'Hivern de 2006 celebrats a la ciutat de Torí (Itàlia) es disputà una prova de 15 quilòmetres en estil clàssic d'esquí de fons en categoria masculina, que unida a la resta de proves conformà el programa oficial dels Jocs. Sobre un recorregut de 15 quilòmetres cada equiador de fons sortí a intervals de mig minut per fer el recorregut. Aquesta prova es realitzà el 17 de febrer de 2006 a les instal·lacions esportives de Pragelato. (ca)
- The men's 15 kilometre classical cross-country skiing competition at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, was held on 17 February at Pragelato. Each skier started at half a minute intervals, skiing the entire 15 kilometre course. Pietro Piller Cottrer was the 2005 World champion, though he did it in freestyle. The defending Olympic champion was the Estonian Andrus Veerpalu, who won in Salt Lake. There had been three World Cup events in this competition: German Tobias Angerer won the first in November, Vasily Rochev of Russia won in Estonia in January, and Jens Arne Svartedal won in Davos a week and a half before the games. However, neither of the World Cup winners took the gold in Turin, as defending champion Veerpalu peaked at the right time to win by 14 seconds. (en)
