- The Coppa dell'Amicizia (Cup of Friendship) was a summer association football friendly tournament for clubs and nations, which were held in a friendly in the time frame between 1959 and 1968. The first was named the Cup of French-Italian Friendship (Italian: Coppa dell'Amicizia Italo-Francese, French: Coupe de l'Amitié Franco-Italienne), a tournament for the seasons 1959, 1960 and 1961 saw teams compete against Italian and French. The tournament provided that each of the participants were opposed to one another nation with the formula of round trip, and that the points he had accumulated in a general classification to describe the winning nation. Five teams participated in the first edition of Representative, in the second 16 and third 10. In 1962 took place the first and only edition of the Cup of French-Italian-Swiss Friendship (Italian: Coppa dell'Amicizia Italo-Franco-Svizzera, French: Coupe de l'Amitié Franco-Italo-Suisse, German: Pokal der Französisch-Italienisch-Schweizerische Freundschaft). 16 teams (6 Italian, 6 French and 4 Swiss) for a tournament with the classical formula of second round, quarterfinals, semifinals and final, all articulated to lots of return. The following year saw still faced club French and Italian (four per representative), but this time with a formula similar to that of 1962 (quarterfinals, semifinals and final) to designate a single winner. The next competition named the Cup of Italian-Spanish Friendship (Italian: Coppa dell'Amicizia Italo-Spagnola, Spanish: Copa de la Amistad Español-Italiana). Juventus F.C. and Real Madrid agreed to play two matches, one in Turin, and the second in Madrid. The first edition (one match 1:3) was held in Turin in 1963, the second (revenge 0:2), because of the many obligations of the two clubs was played in Madrid in 1965. The perfect tie at the end of the two games (at the time the away goal they had double value), determined the need to resort to penalties for the final allocation of the trophy. The last Cup is finally the Cup of Italian-Swiss Friendship (Italian: Coppa dell'Amicizia Italo-Svizzera, French: Coupe de l'Amitié Suisse-Italienne, German: Pokal der Schweizerische-Italienisch Freundschaft), two editions held in 1967 and 1968. The tournament took place entirely on earth Switzerland with the participation of three Italian and three Swiss teams. Each team met with the formula of one-way, three participants from the country and the winner turned out the one with the highest number of points counted in one overall ranking. (en)

Na początku (sezony 1959, 1960 i 1961) turniej został nazwany jako Puchar Przyjaźni francusko-włoskiej (wł. Coppa dell'Amicizia Italo-Francese, fr. Coupe de l'Amitié Franco-Italienne), w którym rywalizowały zespoły włoskie i francuskie. Formuła turnieju wyglądała następująco: każdy z uczestników miał przeciwnika z innego kraju i grał mecz u siebie i na wyjeździe, a punkty były gromadzone w klasyfikacji generalnej do wyznaczenia zwycięskiego narodu. 5 zespołów od każdego kraju uczestniczyło w pierwszej edycji Pucharu, w drugiej 16, a w trzeciej 10. W 1962 roku odbyło się pierwsza i jedyna edycja Pucharu Przyjaźni włosko-francusko-szwajcarskiej (wł. Coppa dell'Amicizia Italo-Franco-Svizzera, fr. Coupe de l'Amitié Franco-Italo-Suisse, niem. Pokal der Französisch-Italienisch-Schweizerische Freundschaft). 16 drużyn (6 włoskich, 6 francuskich i 4 szwajcarskich) walczyły o Puchar z klasyczną formułą 1/8 finału, ćwierćfinału, półfinału i finału, wszystkie spotkania składały się z meczu i rewanżu. W następnym 1963 roku do rozgrywek o Puchar przystąpiły tylko kluby francuskie i włoskie (4 przedstawiciela), ale tym razem z wzorem podobnym do sezonu 1962 (ćwierćfinały, półfinały i finał). Kolejny turniej nazywał się Puchar Przyjaźni włosko-hiszpańskiej (wł. Coppa dell'Amicizia Italo-Spagnola, hiszp. Copa de la Amistad Español-Italiana). Juventus F.C. i Real Madryt uzgodniły rozegrać dwa mecze, jeden w Turynie, a drugi w Madrycie. Pierwszy mecz (1:3) odbył się w Turynie w 1963 roku, rewanż (0:2), z powodu zajętości w kalendarzu przez dwóch klubów, został rozegrany w Madrycie dopiero w 1965 roku. Remis po zakończeniu dwóch gier zmusił do wykonania rzutów karnych aby wyznaczyć zwycięzcę. Po rocznej przerwie, został reaktywowany, tym razem Puchar Przyjaźni włosko-szwajcarskiej (wł. Coppa dell'Amicizia Italo-Svizzera, fr. Coupe de l'Amitié Suisse-Italienne, niem. Pokal der Schweizerische-Italienisch Freundschaft). Dwie edycje odbyły się w 1967 i 1968 całkowicie na boiskach Szwajcarii z udziałem trzech drużyn włoskich i trzech szwajcarskich. Każdy zespół rozegrał trzy mecze z trzema uczestnikami z drugiego kraju, a za zwycięzcę uznawano zespół, który zdobył najwięcej punktów, liczonych w jednym ogólnym rankingu. (pl)
