- Central European Olympiad in Informatics (CEOI) je každoroční soutěž v programování pro středoškolské studenty ze zemí středoevropského regionu. Každá z účastnických zemí na ni vysílá čtyřčlenný tým a dva vedoucí, výjimky požívá organizující země (jednotlivé státy se v organizování nepravidelně střídají), která může mít týmy dva až tři. To, kdo pojede, si státy určují zpravidla podle národních programátorských soutěží. Vlastní soutěž probíhá ve dvou dnech, ačkoliv soutěžící v hostitelském státu pobývají téměř týden – zbytek času věnují vzájemnému sbližování a poznávání cizích kultur. Každý soutěžní den se na pět hodin sejdou u počítačů a tam dostávají za úkol vymyslet a implementovat algoritmus v jazycích C/C++/Pascal podle zadání. (cs)
- The Central European Olympiad in Informatics (CEOI) is an annual informatics competition for secondary school students. Each of the participating central European countries (plus one or two guest countries, and a local team from the host area) sends a team of up to four contestants, a team leader and a deputy team leader. The contestants compete individually, i.e. a team score is not calculated. Competitors are selected through national competitive programming contests. The contest consists of two days computer programming, solving problems of an algorithmic nature. The structure of these competition days is described in the article about the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), which served as a role model for the more local CEOI. - Die Zentraleuropäische Informatik-Olympiade (Englisch: Central European Olympiad in Informatics - CEOI) ist eine jährlich stattfindende Wissenschaftsolympiade für Schüler, insbesondere der gymnasialen Oberstufe bzw. vergleichbarer Ausbildungsrichtungen in anderen Ländern. Jedes der teilnehmenden zentraleuropäischen Länder (sowie eines oder zweier Gastländer und einer lokalen Mannschaft des Gastgebers) sendet eine Mannschaft von bis zu vier Schülern, einen Mannschaftsleiter und einen stellvertretenden Mannschaftsleiter. Die Wettbewerbsteilnehmer treten einzeln gegeneinander an, d. h. ein Mannschaftsergebnis wird, zumindest offiziell, nicht errechnet. Die Teilnehmer werden aufgrund nationaler Informatikwettbewerbe ausgewählt. Im Wettbewerb werden an zwei Tagen Programmieraufgaben algorithmischer Natur gelöst. Der Ablauf dieser Wettbewerbstage und die Art der Aufgaben sind im Artikel Internationale Informatik-Olympiade (IOI) beschrieben. Dieser Wettbewerb bildete tatsächlich das Vorbild für die Erfindung der eher lokalen CEOI. Die erste CEOI fand 1994 in Rumänien (Gründer der CEOI) statt, fünf Jahre nach der ersten IOI. Deutschland nimmt seit 1997 regelmäßig teil. Österreich (2001, 2002, 2017 und 2018) nahm bisher viermal teil. Die Schweiz nimmt seit 2009 (außer 2013) teil. (de)
- La Olimpiada Centroeuropea de Informática u Olimpiada de Informática de Europa Central (en inglés, Central European Olympiad in Informatics, CEOI), es una competición anual de informática para estudiantes de secundaria que se desarrolla a la par de la Olimpiada Internacional de Informática (IOI). En la competición, los participantes deben poder implementar algoritmos para resolver problemas típicos de la investigación operativa. La primera edición de la competición tuvo lugar en 1994 en Rumania con cinco países participantes: Croacia, República Checa, Hungría, Polonia y Rumania. En la actualidad, son 8 los países miembros de la CEOI: Alemania, Croacia, República Checa, Eslovaquia, Eslovenia, Hungría, Polonia y Rumania. Además, en cada edición, se escogen unos pocos países invitados. España participó en la edición de 2005. Cada país envía un equipo de hasta cuatro participantes, un líder de equipo y un sublíder. Sin embargo, los participantes compiten a título individual, es decir, no se tiene en cuenta la puntuación total del equipo. Los participantes son escogidos a través de competiciones nacionales de informática. (es)
- Le Olimpiadi di Informatica dell'Europa Centrale, in inglese Central European Olympiad in Informatics e in acronimo CEOI, sono competizioni fra studenti delle scuole secondarie che si svolgono annualmente al pari delle IOI. La prima edizione delle competizioni si svolse nel 1994 in Romania tra 5 nazioni, Croazia, Repubblica Ceca, Ungheria, Polonia e Romania. Attualmente ci sono 8 nazioni membri delle CEOI: Croazia, Repubblica Ceca, Germania, Ungheria, Polonia, Romania e Slovacchia; mentre ad ogni edizione vengono invitate altre nazioni, l'Italia ha partecipato nel 2001 e nel 2017. Ai partecipanti viene richiesto di implementare degli algoritmi per la risoluzione di problemi tipici della ricerca operativa. Gli studenti competono su base individuale e da ogni nazione partecipante provengono fino a quattro studenti. Gli studenti sono selezionati attraverso analoghe competizioni nazionali. In Italia è l'AICA ad occuparsene. (it)
