- Cantata Profana (subtitled A kilenc csodaszarvas [The Nine Enchanted Stags], Sz 94) is a work for tenor, baritone, double mixed chorus and orchestra by the Hungarian composer Béla Bartók. Completed on 8 September 1930, it received its premiere in London on 25 May 1934, with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Wireless Chorus conducted by Aylmer Buesst. Tenor Trefor Jones and baritone Frank Phillips were the featured soloists. The work was presented in an English translation by M. D. Calvocoressi. (en)

Composée en 1930, elle fut jouée pour la première fois le 25 mai 1934 à la BBC par l'Orchestre symphonique de la BBC dirigé par Aylmer Buesst. Humaniste athée, Béla Bartók souhaitait reprendre à la musique religieuse le genre de la cantate. Le texte hongrois de la cantate s'inspire d'une colindă, chant de Noël roumain. (fr)
