- Caleb Burhans (* 1980) je americký houslista, skladatel a dirigent. V roce 2001 absolvoval v newyorském Rochesteru. Kromě houslí hraje na řadu dalších nástrojů, včetně kytary, violy a klávesových nástrojů. Rovněž zpívá ve sboru. Roku 2013 vydal své první album Evensong. Je jedním ze zakládajících členů uskupení a během své kariéry spolupracoval s mnoha hudebníky, mezi něž patří například , John Zorn, Son Lux či skupina Arcade Fire. Jako dirigent pracoval například s orchestry a Wordless Music Orchestra. V listopadu 2017 hrál na housle při newyorských koncertech velšského hudebníka Johna Calea. V roce 2009 získal grant . He has been commissioned by Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Library of Congress, and the Kronos Quartet. His works have been performed by ensembles such as the JACK Quartet, Roomful of Teeth, and eighth blackbird. He is a founding member of Alarm Will Sound, Ensemble Signal and the Wordless Music Orchestra. He has worked with a diverse array of artists from Arcade Fire, The National, and Paul McCartney to Max Richter, Jóhann Jóhannsson, George Crumb and Steve Reich. (en)
