La catedral de Cahors forma parte de los bienes inscritos en el Caminos de Santiago en Francia, declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco en 1998 con el código 868-051. (es)
- La cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Cahors est une cathédrale catholique romaine, située à Cahors, dans le département du Lot, en région Occitanie. Édifiée à partir du XIIe siècle, elle est un des plus vastes édifices français à coupoles sur pendentifs et mêle éléments romans et gothiques (chœur). Elle abrite la Sainte Coiffe, relique qui aurait enveloppé la tête du Christ lors de sa mise au tombeau. Cette cathédrale fait l’objet d’un classement au titre des monuments historiques par la liste de 1862. Prace przy budowie obecnej budowli zaczęły się w XII w., wtedy też ówczesny papież Kalikst II konsekrował dla niej ołtarz. W katedrze przechowywano relikwię czepka Jezusa, co stymulowało ruch pielgrzymkowy, co skutkowało przebudową romańskiej budowli na gotycką od połowy XIII w. Prace budowlane przerwała wojna stuletnia, przed którą ukończono sklepienie złożone z kopuł, jednak całość prac zakończono dopiero w XVI w.
