- فرضت حكومة إيطاليا بقيادة رئيس الوزراء جوزيبي كونتي حجرًا صحيًا على الصعيد الوطني في 9 مارس عام 2020، قُيّدت على إثره حركة السكان باستثناء الحالات الضرورية والذهاب إلى العمل والظروف الصحية، في استجابة ضد تفشي جائحة فيروس كورونا في البلاد. تضمنت القيود الإضافية في سياق الحجر الصحي الإغلاق المؤقت للمتاجر والشركات قليلة الأهمية. جاءت هذه التدابير في أعقاب قيود سابقة أُعلن عنها في اليوم السابق طالت ستة عشر مليون شخص ضمن إقليم لومبارديا وأربعة عشر مقاطعة في أقاليم إميليا-رومانيا، وفينيتو، وبييمونتي، وماركي، بعد تطبيق حجر صحي سابق ضيق النطاق على إحدى عشرة بلدية في مقاطعة لودي في أواخر فبراير. - On 9 March 2020, the government of Italy under Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte imposed a national lockdown or quarantine, restricting the movement of the population except for necessity, work, and health circumstances, in response to the growing pandemic of COVID-19 in the country. Additional lockdown restrictions mandated the temporary closure of non-essential shops and businesses. This followed a restriction announced on the previous day which affected sixteen million people in the whole region of Lombardy and in fourteen largely-neighbouring provinces in Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Piedmont and Marche, and prior to that a smaller-scale lockdown of ten municipalities in the province of Lodi and one in the province of Padua that had begun in late February. The lockdown measures, despite being widely approved by the public opinion, were also described as the largest suppression of constitutional rights in the history of the republic. Nevertheless, Article 16 of the Constitution states that travel restrictions may be established by law for reasons of health or security. Italy was the first country to enact a COVID-19 lockdown nationwide; many countries would introduce similar measures in subsequent months the COVID-19 pandemic spread globally. (en)
- Le confinement de 2020 en Italie désigne l'ensemble des mesures d'hygiène et de distanciation physique, dites « barrières », définies au niveau national et local en réponse à la pandémie de Covid-19 en Italie. Il est ordonné le 9 mars 2020 par le gouvernement italien, au cours d'une intervention télévisée du président du Conseil des ministres Giuseppe Conte. La mesure imposée à l'ensemble du pays désormais placé en zone rouge a pour but de restreindre les mouvements de population pour limiter la propagation de la pandémie de maladie à coronavirus de 2020 en Italie, pays comprenant soixante millions d'habitants. Seuls les déplacements nécessaires, pour le travail, pour des soins de santé ou pour acheter de la nourriture, sur justificatifs téléchargeables sur Internet sont autorisés sous peine d'amende et de trois mois de prison. Tous les rassemblements publics ou privés sont interdits. Cela fait suite à une quarantaine similaire imposée la veille pour seize millions de personnes du nord de l'Italie, en Lombardie et quatorze provinces du Piémont, de Vénétie, d'Émilie-Romagne et des Marches, ainsi que onze municipalités de la province de Lodi déjà confinées depuis la fin du mois de février. Isso se seguiu a uma quarentena anterior, anunciada em 8 de março de 2020, que afetou dezesseis milhões de pessoas e incluiu a região da Lombardia e catorze províncias vizinhas em Piemonte, Vêneto, Emília-Romanha e Marcas, e ainda nos dias anteriores onde houve uma quarentena em menor escala de onze municípios da província de Lodi, que havia começado no final de fevereiro.
