- L'artròdesi, també coneguda com anquilosi quirúrgica o síndesi, és la inducció artificial (per cirurgia) de l'ossificació articular entre dos ossos, eliminant-ne així la mobilitat articular. Això es fa per alleujar el dolor intractable en una articulació que no es pot controlar mitjançant medicaments per al dolor, fèrules o altres tractaments normalment indicats. Les causes típiques d'aquest dolor són les fractures que alteren l'articulació, els esquinçaments greus i l'artritis. Es realitza amb més freqüència en les articulacions de la columna vertebral, la mà, el turmell i el peu. Històricament, les artròdesis de genoll i maluc també es van realitzar com a procediments per alleujar el dolor, però amb els grans èxits aconseguits en l'artroplàstia de maluc i genoll, l'artròdesi d'aquestes grans articulacions s'han descartat com a procediment primari i ara només s’utilitza com a procediment d'últim recurs en algunes artroplàsties fallides. - إيثاق المفصل (بالإنجليزية: Arthrodesis) أو سمكرة المفصل أو لحم المفصل هو خلق التحام بين عظمتين جراحياً بغرض تخفيف الألم الناتج إما عن تنكس المفصل الروماتزمي أو الكسور الممتدة داخل المفصل، وذلك في حالة فشل المسكنات والأساليب العلاجية الأخرى في تخفيفه، ومن أكثر أجزاء الجهاز الهيكلي التي تستخدم فيها هذه التقنية العمود الفقري، ومفاصل اليد والكاحل والقدم، وكان إيثاق مفصلي الركبة والفخذ عمليتين شائعتين في الماضي لتخفيف الألم، غير أن التطور العظيم الذي حققته تقنيات المفاصل الصناعية حدت من استخدام تقنية الإيثاق في هذين المفصلين كعلاج جراحي أولي وصار يستخدم في هذه الحالات فقط في حالة فشل عملية استبدال الفصل. عند الانتهاء من الجراحة والشفاء الذي يتطلب عدة أسابيع إلى غاية السنة، تلتحم العظام المجاورة ولا يحدث أي حركة بينها. هذا يمكن أن يكون له أثر في تعزيز العظام، كما هو الحال في انصهار عنق الرحم الأمامي. - Die Arthrodese (von altgriechisch ἄρθρον arthron, ‚Gelenk‘ und δέσις desis, ‚das Binden‘) ist eine operative Gelenkversteifung (Versteifungsoperation). Die Bewegungsfähigkeit im Gelenk wird dabei komplett unterbunden. Dabei wird entweder das Gelenk eröffnet (intraartikuläre Arthrodese) oder nicht eröffnet (extraartikuläre oder paraartikuläre Arthrodese). Wird nur vorübergehend eine Fixation quer durch ein Gelenk angelegt, z. B. mit einem K-Draht, liegt eine temporäre Arthrodese vor. Eine Arthrodese an der Wirbelsäule wird als Spondylodese bezeichnet. Die natürliche (krankheitsbedingte) Gelenkversteifung heißt Ankylose. Die operative Gelenkversteifung ist prinzipiell an allen Gelenken möglich. Hüft- und Kniearthrodesen sind seit der Einführung von Endoprothesen selten geworden. Relativ häufig wird das Verfahren noch an Schulter, Hand, Sprunggelenken und Fußgelenken durchgeführt. Die Arthrodese des ersten Tarsometatarsal-Gelenkes (Lapidus-Arthrodese) ist ein häufiges Verfahren zur Korrektur eines schweren instabilen Hallux valgus und die Großzehengrundgelenk-Arthrodese wird häufig bei einem Hallux rigidus durchgeführt. Historically, knee and hip arthrodeses were also performed as pain-relieving procedures, but with the great successes achieved in hip and knee arthroplasty, arthrodesis of these large joints has fallen out of favour as a primary procedure, and now is only used as a procedure of last resort in some failed arthroplasties. Esta intervención es muy común en el raquis, fijando dos vértebras entre sí por los cuerpos vertebrales generando el anclaje por medio de una prótesis de titanio u objetos elásticos, esto último se realiza en fracturas inestables, evitándose en las estables. Este procedimiento, es también utilizado frecuentemente como tratamiento para las articulaciones afectadas por hemorragias de repetición en pacientes hemofílicos, las cuales causan un deterioro articular. - Une arthrodèse est une intervention chirurgicale destinée à bloquer une articulation lésée par l'obtention d'une fusion osseuse (en général de l'extrémité des os) dans le but de corriger une déformation ou d'obtenir l'indolence. C'est souvent une opération non réversible. L'opération inverse, qui consiste à désolidariser des os fusionnés, s'appelle une désarthrodèse. Les sites d'arthrodèse les plus fréquents sont :
* rachis ;
* cheville ;
* poignet ;
* genou ;
* hanche. Il est à noter que, si la pratique est relativement courante pour les petites articulations (poignet, cheville...), elle est plus rare pour les articulations plus grosses (genou, hanche...). Pour ces dernières, il est recommandé d'envisager auparavant une arthroplastie, car elle évite notamment de réduire la mobilité de l'articulation, avec toutes les conséquences que cela entraîne (usure ou inflammations des articulations voisines, fatigue, douleurs en cas d'efforts...). Più semplicisticamente l'artrodesi può essere definita come una "anchilosi chirurgica". Ciò può avvenire sia utilizzando dei mezzi di sintesi metallici e/o sintetici (chiodi, viti, placche, gabbie, ecc) sia innesti ossei (osso autologo, eterologo, ecc).Spesso, per ottenere un ponte osseo che garantisca una artrodesi stabile e duratura è necessario "trattare" l'articolazione che si vuole bloccare con una combinazione di tutti e due i tipi di fusione. I mezzi di sintesi metallici, infatti, bloccano subito l'articolazione creando così un ambiente ottimale che favorisce l'osteogenesi. (it)
- Artrodese (kunstmatige ankylose) is een operatie waarbij de normale beweeglijkheid van een gewricht wordt opgeheven, zodat het gewricht verder stijf is. Ook een gewricht dat zo is behandeld wordt wel met de term artrodese aangeduid. De meest voorkomende reden om deze ingrijpende stap te zetten is dat het gewricht zodanig is aangetast dat iedere beweging ervan pijn doet, of dat het zo instabiel is dat de patiënt nog beter af is met een stijf gewricht. Door de vooruitgang van de geneeskunde, met name de ontwikkeling van kunstgewrichten is het tegenwoordig nog maar hoogst zelden zo dat artrodese als oplossing gekozen moet worden voor grote gewrichten als heup of knie, met als gevolg een sterk gestoord looppatroon. In de pols, de enkel en in de voet wordt het nog weleens gedaan. Ook rugwervels worden weleens aan elkaar vastgezet. (nl)
- Artrodeza, zwana również sztuczną ankylozą jest operacyjnym wytworzeniem w stawie osteogenezy pomiędzy dwiema kośćmi wskutek interwencji chirurgicznej i ma na celu trwałe usztywnienie stawu uniemożliwiając jego późniejsze zginanie. Artrodezę stosuje się w celu wyeliminowania niewyleczalnego bólu stawów, który nie może być usunięty przez analgetyki (środki przeciwbólowe), zastosowanie ortezy lub innych klasycznych metod. Typowym powodem takiego bólu są:
* pourazowe pęknięcia i rozszczepienia kości w obrębie stawów,
* nienaprawialne uszkodzenia chrząstki stawowej,
* zapalenie stawów, w tym reumatoidalne. Artrodezę stosuje się najczęściej do usztywniania:
* stawów kręgosłupa,
* stawów ręki,
* stawu skokowego i stawów stopy. Dawniej artrodeza była stosowana jako standardowy zabieg usuwający ból w operacjach stawu kolanowego i stawu biodrowego, obecnie jest stosowana wyjątkowo. Dominującym zabiegiem przywracającym użytkowość tych stawów (i przywracającym mobilność – co wyklucza artrodeza) stało się wszczepienie endoprotezy. (pl)

Na coluna vertebral, pode ser realizada na coluna cervical, torácica, lombar e lombo-sacra . A artrodese pode ser realizada de várias maneiras:
* Um enxerto ósseo por ser feito usando osso retirado da própria pessoa ou de uma outra pessoa.
* Enxento próprio geralmente é o preferido pelos cirurgiões, porque tanto elimina risco de rejeição como possibilita uma regeneração óssea. Nesse caso o enxerto funciona como matriz de novo osso que cresce unindo os dois pedaços. A única desvantagem do enxerto próprio é a limitação de retirar osso de outra parte do esqueleto. (pt)
