- Áron Bulharský (bulharsky Арон, zemřel 14. června 976) byl bulharský šlechtic v desátém století našeho letopočtu, jeden z komitopulů, čtyř bratrů, kteří společně vládli Bulharské říši a bojovali s Byzantskou říší. Byl třetím synem , významného šlechtice z dvora bulharského cara Petra I. a správce západní část země. Měl tři bratry , a Samuela. Když v roce 969 car Petr I. zemřel a jeho synové Boris a Roman byli tou dobou v zajetí u byzantského císaře Jana Tzimiska v Cařihradě, rozdělili si tito čtyři bratři správu nad svobodným zbytkem Bulharska a jako společní vládci jsou známi pod jménem komitopulové. David a Mojžíš ovšem postupně v bojích zahynuli a Áron začal vyjednávat s byzantským císařem Basileem o oboustranně výhodném míru a spojenectví, díky kterému by se mohl zmocnit vlády nad celým Bulharskem. Samuel se o této zradě dozvěděl a nechal Árona i s jeho rodinou dne 14. června 976 zabít poblíž dnešní . Přežil pouze jeho syn Ivan Vladislav, který se později stal bulharským carem. (cs)

Όταν οι Ρωμαίοι ανέκτησαν τα ανατολικά μέρη της Βουλγαρίας το 971, ο Ααρών και οι τρεις αδελφοί του, γιοί του κόμη Νικολάου, συνέχισαν την αντίσταση στη δύση. Κλήθηκαν Κομητόπουλοι και κυβέρνησαν τη χώρα μαζί, ως νόμιμοι διάδοχοι του θρόνου, καθώς οι δύο τελευταίοι τσάροι της δυναστείας του Κρούμου, οι αδελφοί Βόρις Β΄ και Ρομάν, ήταν φυλακισμένοι στην Κωνσταντινούπολη. Η αντίσταση του Ααρών ήταν στη Σερδική (νυν Σόφια), που βρίσκεται στην κύρια οδό μεταξύ Κωνσταντινούπολης και Δυτικής Ευρώπης. After the fall of the eastern parts of the country under Byzantine occupation in 971, he and his three brothers David, Moses and Samuel continued the resistance to the west. They were called Cometopuli and ruled the country together, as the rightful heirs to the throne, Boris II and Roman were imprisoned in Constantinople. The residence of Aron was Serdica (modern-day Sofia), situated on the main road between Constantinople and Western Europe. Depois da queda das regiões orientais do império frente à ocupação bizantina em 971, Arão e seus irmãos, David, Moisés e Samuel continuaram a luta nos territórios ocidentais.
