- Antoni Infante (Guadix, Granada, 1958) és un activista i polític valencià. És coordinador de la Plataforma pel Dret a Decidir del País Valencià, membre de Poble Lliure i impulsor de la Confederació d'Entitats Sobiranistes dels Països Catalans. La seua família es va veure obligada a immigrar a terres valencianes. Militant comunista des de les acaballes del franquisme, va participar en l'organització de Comissions Obreres a Torrent i altres municipis de l’Horta. Posteriorment va ser responsable d'Acció Sindical, Organització i Secretari General de la Unió Comarcal de l'Horta de Comissions Obreres, liderà durant anys tot el sector d'esquerres i antipactes socials al si d'aquest sindicat. El 1987 va decidir assumir l'independentisme i els Països Catalans, en un procés que li va portar a militar en el Moviment de Defensa de la Terra des de l'any 1990. El 1991 va participar en la fundació de l'Assemblea Unitària per l'Autodeterminació, juntament amb Lluís Maria Xirinacs, Carles Castellanos, Jaume Soler, Eva Serra i Puig i Blanca Serra i Puig, entre d'altres.El juliol de 1992 va ser detingut i torturat en l'Operació Garzón contra l'Esquerra Independentista.Col·labora habitualment en mitjans de comunicació de l'àmbit dels Països Catalans, com ara La Veu del País Valencià, Levante-EMV, El Món, Llibertat, Ràdio Klara, Lliure i Millor o València Extra. - Antoni Infante (* 1958 in Guadix) ist ein valencianischer Politiker. Er ist Koordinator der Plattform für das Recht der Selbstbestimmung des valencisnischen Landes, Mitglieder von (Freies Volk) und Förderer der Konföderation der Verbände für die Selbstbestimmung der katalanischen Länder. Seine Familie wanderte aus Andalusien nach dem Land Valencia wegen wirtschaftlicher Schwierigkeiten, als er Kind war. Er wurde Kommunist am Ende des Franquismus. Er nahm an der Organisation der Gewerkschaft Comisiones obreras (Arbeiterausschuss) in Torrent und anderen Dörfern der Gegend der Horta de València teil. Später wurde er Generalsekretär für die Gegend der Horta von Comisiones Obreras. 1987 traf er die Entscheidung, sich für die katalanische Unabhängigkeitsbewegung und für den Kampf für die katalanische Länder einzusetzen. Er wurde auch Mitglieder von dem Moviment de Defensa de la Terra (Bewegung für die Verteidigung des Landes) 1990. 1991 war er einer der Stifter der Assemblea Unitària per l'Autodeterminació (Unitäre Versammlung für Selbstbestimmung), zusammen mit Lluís Maria Xirinacs, , Jaume Soler, und u. a.In Juli 1992 wurde er verhaftet und gepfoltert im Raum der sogenannten gegen die katalanische Unabhängigkeitsbewegung.Er schreibt regelmäßig mit Medien der katalanischen Länder wie Z.B. La Veu del País Valencià, Levante-EMV, mon.cat, Llibertat.cat, Ràdio Klara, Lliure i Millor oder València Extra. (de)
- Antoni Infante (Guadix, 1958) is a Spanish politician. He is coordinator of the Platform for the right of self decision of the Valencian country, member of Free People and promoter of the Confederation of Self-determination Organizations of the Catalan Countries. His family was forced to migrate from Andalusia to the Valencian Country owing to economic difficulties when he was a boy. He became a communist activist at the end of Franco's times. He took part in the organization of Workers' Commissions in Torrent and other villages of the Horta of Valencia. Later he was General Secretary of Horta section of Worker's Commissions. In 1987 he took the decision of engaging himself in favour of Catalan independentism and the fight for the Catalan Countries. During this process he was a member of the Movement for Defence of the Land since 1990. In 1991 he was one of the founders of the Assemblea Unitària per l'Autodeterminació (Unitary Assembly for the Self-Determination), together with Lluís Maria Xirinacs, , Jaume Soler, and among others.In July 1992 he was arrested and tortured during the Operation Garzón against Catalan independentism.He collaborates regularly with media from the Catalan Countries, such as La Veu del País Valencià, Levante-EMV, mon.cat, Llibertat.cat, Ràdio Klara, Lliure i Millor or València Extra.
