- Amselgrund je název divokého a romantického údolí v oblasti Saského Švýcarska na území stejnojmenného národního parku. Protéká jím potok Grünbach, pravostranný přítok Labe. Údolí vede z Niederrathenu směrem k vesnici Rathewalde. Nad údolím se tyčí bizarní skalní útvary, na západě , na jihu , na východě s výrazným skalním útvarem nazývaným Lokomotiva. Uprostřed údolí nad přehradou Amselsee vybudovanou v 30. letech 20. století vyniká nápadná skála Talwächter. Nachází se na území Národního parku Saské Švýcarsko. (cs)
- The Amselgrund ("Amsel Bottom") is the name given to the valley of the Grünbach stream in the heart of Saxon Switzerland in Eastern Germany. It runs from upstream to Rathewalde. The wild and romantic valley takes hikers through the Rathen rock basin with its bizarre rock formations. Its touristic high points are the lake of Amselsee and the Amsel Falls, that trickles over the grotto called the Amselloch. The valley bottom that is densely wooded is surrounded by a backdrop of rocks. To the west tower the rocks of the Gansfelsen, to the south the Feldsteine and the Türkenkopf, and to the east rise the Honigsteine rocks with the striking Lokomotive. The middle of the valley bottom is dominated by the striking Talwächter.Whilst the character of the valley profile in its upper reaches is rather ravine-like, between its entrance to the Schwedenlöcher and Niederrathen it is a steep valley. On the stream bed ripple marks may be seen. Above the Amsel Falls, large, fallen sandstone boulders block the watercourse, so that the rather lower water quantities of the Grünbach have to find their way past them.

- Der Amselgrund ist das Tal des auch Amselgrundbach genannten Grünbaches im Herzen der Sächsischen Schweiz. Es führt von Rathewalde bachabwärts nach Niederrathen. Das wildromantische Tal betritt der Wanderer durch den Rathener Felsenkessel mit seinen bizarren Felsbildungen. Touristische Höhepunkte sind der Amselsee und der Amselfall, der über die als Amselloch bezeichnete Grotte rieselt. Der mit reichhaltigem Baumbestand bestandene Grund wird von einer Felskulisse umrandet. Im Westen steigen die empor, im Süden die mit dem Türkenkopf und östlich erheben sich die mit der markanten „Lokomotive“. Über einem schon tiefen Sporn nahe dem Talgrund ragt der auffällige Fels Talwächter auf. Während es im oberen Bereich eher schluchtartig ist, präsentiert sich das Talprofil zwischen der Einmündung der Schwedenlöcher und Niederrathen als steiler Geländeeinschnitt. Im Bachbett sind Strömungsrippel zu beobachten. Oberhalb des Amselfalls versperren große abgestürzte Sandsteinblöcke den Wasserlauf, so dass sich der meist nur wenig Wasser führende Grünbach seitlich vorbei seinen Weg suchen muss. Der Bereich des Amselgrunds zwischen Abzweig Wehlgrund und etwas oberhalb des Amselfalls liegt innerhalb des Nationalparks Sächsische Schweiz. (de)
