- اتفاقية الجزائر 1981 هي اتفاقية تمت بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران لحل أزمة الرهائن الإيرانية، توسطت فيها الحكومة الجزائرية ووقعت في الجزائر في 19 يناير 1981.نشأت الأزمة عندما اقتحمت مجموعة من الطلاب الإيرانيين السفارة الأمريكية في طهران في 4 نوفمبر 1979، وأحتجزوا الموظفين الأمريكيين هناك. بموجب هذه الاتفاقية، تم إطلاق سراح الموظفين الأمريكيين البالغ عددهم 52 شخصاً، مقابل التزام الحكومة الأميركية بعدم التدخل في شؤون إيران ورد الأموال المجمدة وإلغاء العقوبات ضد إيران أمام المحاكم الأميركية، وتجميد أموال الشاه في الولايات المتحدة إلى أن تبت فيها المحاكم. - The Algiers Accords of January 19, 1981 was a set of agreements between the United States and Iran to resolve the Iran hostage crisis, brokered by the Algerian government and signed in Algiers on January 19, 1981. The crisis arose from the takeover of the American embassy in Tehran on November 4, 1979, and the taking hostage of the American staff there. By this accord the 52 American citizens were set free and able to leave Iran. Among its chief provisions are: 1.
* The US would not intervene politically or militarily in Iranian internal affairs; 2.
* The US would remove the freeze on Iranian assets and trade sanctions on Iran; 3.
* Both countries would end litigation between their respective governments and citizens, referring them instead to international arbitration, namely to the Iran–United States Claims Tribunal, created as a result of the agreement; 4.
* The US would ensure that US court decisions regarding the transfer of any property of the former Shah would be independent from "sovereign immunity principles" and would be enforced; 5.
* Iranian debts to US institutions would be paid. The US chief negotiator was Deputy Secretary of State Warren Christopher, while the chief Algerian mediator was the Algerian Foreign Affairs Minister Mohammed Benyahia accompanied with a team of Algerian intelligence including Prime Minister Mohammed ben Ahmed Abdelghan and Mr Rashid Hassaine. The negotiations took place and the accords were signed at the Algiers home of the American ambassador, the Villa Montfeld. (en)
- Les accords d'Alger du 19 janvier 1981 ont été négociés par le gouvernement algérien entre les États-Unis et la république islamique d'Iran pour résoudre la crise iranienne des otages, crise née de la prise de contrôle de l'ambassade américaine à Téhéran le 4 novembre 1979, et de la prise d'otage du personnel de celle-ci. Par cet accord les 52 citoyens américains ont été mis en liberté et furent en mesure de quitter l'Iran. Parmi ses principales dispositions suivantes :
* Les États-Unis n'interviennent pas dans les affaires intérieures iraniennes.
* D'enlever le gel des avoirs iraniens aux États-Unis et pas de sanctions commerciales contre l'Iran.
* Les deux pays prendraient fin du contentieux entre leurs gouvernements respectifs et les citoyens en se référant à l'arbitrage international.
* Les États-Unis feraient en sorte que les décisions des tribunaux des États-Unis concernant le transfert des biens de l'ex-Shah serait indépendante de « principes de l'immunité souveraine » et ne seraient pas forcées.
* Les dettes iraniennes à des institutions américaines seraient payées. Le négociateur en chef américain a été Secrétaire d'État adjoint Warren Christopher et le négociateur en chef algérien a été le ministre des Affaires Étrangères Mohamed Seddik Benyahia. (fr)
- Os Acordos de Argel foram um conjunto de acordos entre os Estados Unidos e o Irã para resolver a crise dos reféns americanos no Irã. Os acordos foram intermediados pelo governo argelino e assinados em Argel, no dia 19 de janeiro de 1981. (pt)
- Алжирские соглашения были подписаны 19 января 1981 года между США и Ираном при посредничестве алжирского правительства. Соглашения разрешили кризис с американскими заложниками, захваченными 4 ноября 1979 года при штурме посольства США в Тегеране вооруженными студентами. В результате соглашения все заложники были освобождены. Среди основополагающих пунктов соглашения следует выделить:
* США не будут вмешиваться во внутренние дела Ирана;
* США разморозят банковские счета Ирана и снимут торговые санкции;
* обе стороны согласились на создание арбитражного искового трибунала для разрешения конфликтов;
* Иран обязался выплачивать внешний долг перед США. (ru)

Угоди вирішили кризу з американськими заручниками, захопленими 4 листопада 1979 року при штурмі посольства США в Тегерані збройними студентами. В результаті угоди всі заручники були звільнені. Серед основних пунктів угоди слід виділити:
* США не будуть втручатися у внутрішні справи Ірану;
* США розморозять банківські рахунки Ірану і знімуть торгові санкції;
* Обидві сторони погодилися на створення арбітражного позовної трибуналу для вирішення конфліктів;
