- The 2022 Rally de Portugal (also known as the Vodafone Rally de Portugal 2022) was a motor racing event for rally cars held over four days between 19 and 22 May 2022. It marked the fifty-fifth running of the Rally de Portugal. The event was the fourth round of the 2022 World Rally Championship, World Rally Championship-2 and World Rally Championship-3. The 2022 event was based in Matosinhos in the Porto District and was contested over twenty-one special stages covering a total competitive distance of 330.17 km (205.16 mi). Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin were the defending rally winners. Their team, Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, were the defending manufacturers' winners. Esapekka Lappi and Janne Ferm were the defending rally winners in the WRC-2 category. Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Maciej Szczepaniak were the defending rally winners in the WRC-3 category, with the Latvian crew of and were the defending title-holders in the junior class. Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen won a hat-trick victory. Their team, Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, successfully defended their title. Yohan Rossel and won the World Rally Championship-2 category. Sami Pajari and won the World Rally Championship-3 category as well as the junior class. (en)

- Il Rally del Portogallo 2022, ufficialmente denominato 55º Vodafone Rally de Portugal, è stata la quarta prova del campionato del mondo rally 2022 nonché la cinquantacinquesima edizione del Rally del Portogallo e la quarantunesima con valenza mondiale. La manifestazione si è svolta dal 19 al 22 maggio sugli sterrati che attraversano territori situati sia nella Região Centro, dove si gareggiò nella prima giornata, e soprattutto nella Região Norte, in cui si svolse il resto della corsa; il parco assistenza per i concorrenti venne allestito come di consueto a Matosinhos, nel distretto di Porto, presso il centro di esposizione Exponor, il più grande del Portogallo. L'evento è stato vinto dal finlandese Kalle Rovanperä, navigato dal connazionale Jonne Halttunen, al volante di una Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 della squadra Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, seguiti dalla coppia britannica formata da Elfyn Evans e Scott Martin, compagni di squadra dei vincitori, e dal binomio spagnolo composto da Dani Sordo e , su Hyundai i20 N Rally1 del team Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT, al debutto stagionale. Rovanperä e Halttunen conquistarono così il loro terzo successo di fila in stagione dopo quelli ottenuti in Svezia e in Croazia nonché il quinto in assoluto. I francesi Yohan Rossel e , su Citroën C3 Rally2 della squadra , hanno invece conquistato il successo nel campionato WRC-2, il loro secondo consecutivo, mentre i finlandesi Sami Pajari ed hanno vinto nella serie WRC-3 alla guida di una Ford Fiesta Rally3. In Portogallo si disputava anche la terza prova del campionato Junior WRC (chiamato anche WRC-3 Junior), vinta dagli stessi Pajari e Mälkönen. (it)
