  • The 2022 season is the Dallas Cowboys' 63rd in the National Football League (NFL) and their third under head coach Mike McCarthy. The Cowboys attempt to improve on their 12–5 record from 2021, become the first team since the 2001–2004 Philadelphia Eagles to repeat as NFC East champions, and win a Super Bowl for the first time since 1995. The Cowboys clinched back-to-back winning seasons, the first time Dallas would do so since the 2016-2018 seasons. This is the first season since 2014 without offensive tackle La'el Collins on the roster, as he was released on March 18, 2022, and later signed with the Cincinnati Bengals.
