- The 2019–20 Elite One was the 60th season of the Elite One, the top-tier football league in Cameroon. This was the first season in the Elite One to use an October–May schedule since the 2011–12 season, it was changed so as to conform with the new CAF calendar. The season started on 18 October 2019 and was scheduled to end on 26 April 2020, but due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the season was cancelled on 12 May 2020 by FECAFOOT.PWD Bamenda won their first Elite One silverware as they were crowned champions, alongside Coton Sport, they will represent Cameroon at the 2020–21 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup respectively as the Cameroonian Cup won't hold this year. Only Dragon Club were relegated to the Elite Two as the teams would be increased to twenty teams during the next season.There were no Championship and Relegation group this season. (en)

Die Saison begann am 18. Oktober 2019. Im März 2020 wurde die Liga aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie in Kamerun pausiert. Am 12. Mai wurde entschieden, die Saison abzubrechen und den aktuellen Stand als final anzuerkennen. Meister wurde PWD Bamenda. (de)
- La saison 2019-2020 du Championnat du Cameroun de football est la 60e édition de la première division camerounaise, la MTN Elite 1. Pour être conforme au calendrier de la CAF, le championnat change de dates il débute dorénavant en octobre et se termine en mai. Le championnat commence le 18 octobre 2019, mais sera interrompu le 11 mars 2020, après la 28e journée à cause de la pandémie de Covid-19.Le 14 mai 2020, la FECAFOOT annonce la suspension du championnat, le PWD Bamenda premier au moment de l'interruption est sacré champion du Cameroun, c'est le premier titre du club. Le club aurait dû être relégué la saison passée, mais reste en première division en remplaçant Les Astres Football Club. (fr)
