- نهائي دوري أبطال أفريقيا 2018–19 هي النسخة 55 من البطولة الأفريقية الأولى لكرة القدم للأندية التي ينظمها الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم (CAF)، والنسخة 23 من دوري أبطال أفريقيا. جرت المباراة النهائية في الأصل على مباراتين ذهابًا وإيابًا بين الوداد البيضاوي المغربي وحامل اللقب الترجي التونسي. استضاف الوداد البيضاوي مباراة الذهاب على ملعب الأمير مولاي عبد الله في الرباط في 24 مايو 2019، بينما استضاف الترجي التونسي مباراة الإياب على ملعب رادس الأولمبي في رادس يوم 31 مايو 2019. أُعلن عن فوز الترجي التونسي في البداية بعد رفض الوداد البيضاوي استئناف اللعب بسبب خلاف حول تقنية المساعدة بالفيديو (VAR في إيه آر) التي لم تعمل. توقفت المباراة قرابة الدقيقة 60 إثر احتجاج لاعبي الوداد المغربي على إلغاء هدف التعادل في الشوط الثاني عبر الاعب وليد الكرتي، وطالب اللاعبون بالرجوع لتقنية الفيديو التي تبين أنها غير مهيأة. وامتد التوقف نحو 90 دقيقة، شهدت احتكاكا طفيفا بين لاعبي الفريقين، ورشقا لأرض الملعب بقوارير المياه من المشجعين، وقام رئيس الاتحاد القاري أحمد أحمد بالنزول إلى أرض الملعب للتشاور مع مسؤولي الناديين، قبل اتخاذ قرار إنهاء المباراة وفوز الترجي باللقب بعد تعادله ذهابا بنتيجة 1-1. حكم الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم لاحقًا بأن مباراة الإياب يجب أن تُعاد في مكان محايد لتحديد الأبطال معتبرا بأن «شروط اللعب والأمن لم تكن متوفرة خلال مباراة إياب الدور النهائي لدوري الأبطال، ما حال دون اكتمال المباراة. وبالتالي، ستعاد المباراة على أرض خارج تونس».وأثار قرار إعادة المباراة انتقادات من الجانبين التونسي والمغربي ومطالبة كل منهما باعتباره فائزا قبل أن يتم رفع القضية إلى محكمة التحكيم الرياضي. - The 2019 CAF Champions League Final was the final of the 2018–19 CAF Champions League, the 55th edition of Africa's premier club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and the 23rd edition under the current CAF Champions League title. The final was originally contested in two-legged home-and-away format between Wydad AC from Morocco and defending champions Espérance de Tunis from Tunisia. The first leg was hosted by Wydad AC at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on 24 May 2019, while the second leg was hosted by Espérance de Tunis at the Stade Olympique de Radès in Tunis on 31 May 2019. Espérance de Tunis were initially declared winners following a refusal by Wydad AC to resume play following an issue with VAR, though CAF later ruled the second leg must be replayed in a neutral venue to decide the champions. However, the decision to order a replay was thrown out by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), who told the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to refer the case to its proper disciplinary structures for a decision, and on 7 August 2019, Espérance de Tunis were declared winners for a second time. As winners, they earned the right to play in the 2020 CAF Super Cup and the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup. (en)
