  • Ženská dvouhra Qatar Total Open 2018 probíhala v polovině února 2018. Do singlové soutěže dauhaského tenisového turnaje nastoupilo padesát šest hráček. Obhájkyní titulu byla česká světová pětka Karolína Plíšková, kterou ve třetím kole vyřadila americká kvalifikantka CiCi Bellisová. Do turnaje zasáhlo devět z deseti členek elitní světové desítky žebříčku WTA, vyjma osmé v pořadí Američanky Venus Williamsové. Česká tenistka finálovou výhrou prodloužila vítěznou šňůru již na 13 duelů v řadě a k vyrovnání osobního maxima neporazitelnosti jí scházela jedna výhra. Ziskem trofeje si poprvé od června 2016 zajistila návrat do Top 10, když na desátém místě vystřídala Görgesovou. Na turnaji přitom otočila průběh tří zápasů.
