The 2008 NFL Draft was the 73rd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players. The draft took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, New York, on April 26 and April 27, 2008. For the 29th consecutive year, ESPN televised the draft; the NFL Network also broadcast the event, its third year doing so. Of the 252 selections, 220 were regular selections in rounds one through seven, and 32 were compensatory selections, distributed among rounds three through seven. As of the end of the 2018 season, 27 players have been selected to the Pro Bowl.

L'ordine del draft era costituito semplicemente invertendo l'ordine di come si è conclusa la stagione regolare 2007, quindi dalla squadra che aveva ottenuto meno vittorie a quella con più vittorie; tranne per le ultime due scelte (31a e 32a) che sono state assegnate rispettivamente alla perdente e alla vincente del Super Bowl XLII. In caso di parità di vittorie si guardava come prima cosa la difficoltà del calendario che le squadre con lo stesso numero di vittorie si erano affrontate. For the 29th consecutive year, ESPN televised the draft; the NFL Network also broadcast the event, its third year doing so. Of the 252 selections, 220 were regular selections in rounds one through seven, and 32 were compensatory selections, distributed among rounds three through seven.
