- Die ATP Studena Croatia Open 2008 waren ein Tennisturnier, das vom 14. bis zum 20. Juli 2008 in Umag stattfand. Es war Teil der ATP Tour 2008 und wurde im Freien auf Sand ausgetragen. In derselben Woche wurden in Amersfoort die Dutch Open Tennis, in Indianapolis die Indianapolis Tennis Championships sowie in Kitzbühel die Austrian Open gespielt. Letztere gehörten zur Kategorie der International Series Gold, während die Turniere in Indianapolis, Umag und Amersfoort zur niedriger dotierten Kategorie der International Series gehörten. Titelverteidiger im Einzel war Carlos Moyá, der dieses Jahr im Viertelfinale ausschied. Im Finale setzte sich der Setzlistenerste Fernando Verdasco mit 3:6, 6:4 und 7:64 gegen Igor Andrejew durch und fuhr damit seinen zweiten Einzeltitel ein. Im Doppel gewann die Paarung aus Lukáš Dlouhý und Michal Mertiňák im Vorjahr. Mertiňák spielte dieses Jahr mit Petr Pála und konnte seinen Titel verteidigen. Im Finale setzten sie sich gegen Carlos Berlocq und Fabio Fognini mit 2:6, 6:3, [10:5] durch. Das Teilnehmerfeld der Einzelkonkurrenz bestand aus 28 Spielern, jenes der Doppelkonkurrenz aus 16 Paaren. Die vier topgesetzten Spieler im Einzel bekamen jeweils ein Freilos in die zweite Runde. Das Gesamtpreisgeld betrug 305.000 Euro; die gesamten finanziellen Verbindlichkeiten lagen bei 326.000 Euro. (de)
- The 2008 Croatia Open Umag, also known by its sponsored name ATP Studena Croatia Open, was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 19th edition of the Croatia Open Umag, and was part of the International Series of the 2008 ATP Tour. It took place at the International Tennis Center in Umag, Croatia, from 14 July through 20 July 2008. The singles field was led by Nottingham runner-up and recent Båstad semifinalist Fernando Verdasco, two-time Nottingham champion Ivo Karlović, and Costa do Sauípe runner-up and five-time Umag winner, defending champion Carlos Moyá. Other seeded players were Gstaad finalist Igor Andreev, Zagreb runner-up Ivan Ljubičić, Guillermo Cañas, Fabio Fognini and Marcos Daniel. (en)
