- The 2006–07 Rugby Pro D2 is a French rugby union club competition. The season runs alongside the 2006-07 Top 14 competition, which is the highest club competition. At the end of the season, Auch were champions and thus automatically promoted to Top 14. They were eventually followed by Dax who beat La Rochelle in the final providing the second promotion place. Colomiers were relegated to Fédérale 1; Limoges finished in a relegation spot, but were reprieved when Gaillac were denied a professional license for the 2007–08 season due to serious financial problems. The 2006–07 season was also noted for Toulon's signing of top players such as Tana Umaga who played for them for a period during the season. (en)

- Le Championnat de France de rugby Pro D2 2006-07 s'est déroulé du 2 septembre 2006 au 13 mai 2007. Les clubs de Gaillac, Grenoble et Limoges ont été promus à l'issue de la saison 2005-06. Pau et Toulon participent au Pro D2, ayant été relégués du Top 14. Le championnat 2006-07 est remporté par le FC Auch qui est promu dans le Top 14 en compagnie de l'US Dax. À l'issue de la saison, les clubs de Limoges et Colomiers sont relégables en Fédérale 1. Cependant, à l'issue de la saison, la Direction nationale d'aide et de contrôle de gestion (DNACG) décide de rétrograder Gaillac en raison de sa mauvaise santé financière. (fr)
