- 10. politbyro Ústředního výboru Komunistické strany Číny (čínsky v českém přepisu Čung-kuo Kung-čchan-tang ti-š’-ťie Čung-jang Čeng-č’-ťü, pchin-jinem Zhōngguó Gòngchǎndǎng dìshíjiè Zhōngyāng Zhèngzhìjú, znaky 中国共产党第十届中央政治局) bylo v letech 1973–1977 skupinou cca dvouapůl desítky členů ústředního výboru Komunistické strany Číny, která tvořila užší vedení Komunistické strany Číny. Devět nejvýznamnějších členů politbyra tvořilo nejužší vedení, takzvaný stálý výbor politbyra. Desáté politbyro bylo zvoleno 30. srpna 1973 na prvním zasedání 10. ústředního výboru zvoleného na závěr X. sjezdu KS Číny. Skládalo se z 25 lidí: devíti členů stálého výboru, kterými byli předseda ÚV Mao Ce-tung, pět místopředsedů – Čou En-laj, Wang Chung-wen, , Jie Ťien-jing a , členy stálého výboru byli zvoleni ještě Ču Te, Čang Čchun-čchiao a ; ostatními dvanácti členy politbyra byli , Liou Po-čcheng, Ťiang Čching, , Chua Kuo-feng, , , Wang Tung-sing, , , Li Sien-nien a Jao Wen-jüan. Posledními čtyřmi byli kandidáti , , a . V prosinci 1973 politbyro doplnil Teng Siao-pching, od ledna 1975 i místopředseda ÚV a člen stálého výboru; opět ztratil všechny funkce v dubnu 1976 a získal je zpět v červenci 1977. V letech 1975–1976 řada členů politbyra ve vysokém věku zemřela (Mao Ce-tung, Čou En-laj, Kchang Šeng, Ču Te, Tung Pi-wu). Po smrti Mao Ce-tunga byli zatčeni radikální stoupenci kulturní revoluce, takzvaný gang čtyř (Wang Chung-wen, Čang Čchun-čchiao, Ťiang Čching a Jao Wen-jüan). (cs)

There were additions to the membership in 1973 and 1977. It was informally supervised by the Politburo Standing Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. - Le 10e Bureau politique du Parti communiste chinois est l'organe dirigeant principal du Parti communiste chinois, élu par le Comité central du Parti, lui-même élu par le 10e congrès national du Parti, en août 1973. Il est remplacé par le 11e Bureau politique en août 1977. Lors de la réunion du 10e Comité central du Parti, les membres de la bande des Quatre (Zhang Chunqiao, Jiang Qing, Yao Wenyuan, et Wang Hongwen) sont promus à des postes importants du Bureau politique : deux d’entre eux font partIe du Comité permanent du bureau politique. Ils vont intervenir « contre le rétablissement du capitalisme sous toutes ses formes ». Pour critiquer l'action de Zhou Enlai et Deng Xiaoping, la bande des Quatre utilise même le roman Au bord de l'eau, datant du XVIe siècle, qui met en scène les aventures de bandits d'honneur aux prises avec les mandarins locaux.
