Oren Ethelbirt Long (March 4, 1889 – May 6, 1965), was the tenth Territorial Governor of Hawaii and served from 1951 to 1953. A member of the Democratic Party of Hawaii, Long was appointed to the office after the term of Ingram Stainback. After statehood was achieved he served in the United States Senate, one of the first two, along with Hiram Fong, to represent Hawaii in that body. Long was the only non-Asian American U.S. Senator from Hawaii until the appointment of Brian Schatz to the position in 2012.

Long wurde 1889 in Altoona, Kansas geboren. Er besuchte das Johnson College in Kimberlin Heights, Tennessee und studierte an der University of Michigan und der Columbia University in New York City. Im Jahr 1951 wurde er von Harry S. Truman zum zehnten Territorialgouverneur von Hawaii ernannt. Dieses Amt hatte er bis 1953 inne. Am 28. Juli 1959 wurde er für den neuen Bundesstaat Hawaii in den US-Senat gewählt. Long trat sein Amt am 21. August an und behielt seinen Sitz bis 1963. Für eine Wiederwahl kandidierte er nicht mehr.
