Samseong mythology is a mythology originated in the Tamna, present-day Jeju island, which is different from Dangun mythology in Korean peninsula. There are following descriptions in Yeong Ju Ji (Korean: 영주지; Hanja: 瀛州誌), Goryeosa, Nasanok (Korean: 나사녹; Hanja: 南槎録）and Tamnaraji (Korean: 탐[나라]지; Hanja: 耽羅志). Also in Goryeosa, Nasanok (Korean: 나사녹; Hanja: 南槎録), and Tamnaraji (Korean: 탐[나라]지; Hanja: 耽羅志), Byeoknangguk (Korean: 벽낭; Hanja: 碧浪国) was explained as Japan and a girl who come from that country. 三姓神話是古朝鲜济州岛上的耽罗建国的神话，发源于岛上的三姓穴. 传说来源于三个不同的地方姓“高乙那”、“良乙那”、“夫乙那”的神人来到济州岛，分别与相关的人物结合，后来开创了济州岛上的耽罗。 三姓神話（さんせいしんわ）は、韓国済州島に伝わる耽羅民族の神話。『』、『高麗史』地理志、『』、『』、『』に記されている。それによると、高・梁・夫の三兄弟が、東国の碧浪国（へきろうこく）から来た美しい3人の女を娶り、耽羅王国を建国したことが伝えられている。なお、東国の碧浪国について、『高麗史』地理志、『南槎録』、『耽羅志』は日本国として、日本から来た娘としている。
