Albert Laponneraye (8 May 1808 – 1 September 1849) was a French republican socialist and a journalist, popular historian, educator and editor of Robespierre's writings. He was a representative of the Neo-Babouvist tendency in the 1840s, along with Richard Lahautière, Jean-Jacques Pillot and others. He combined Jacobin republicanism with egalitarian communism and anti-clericalism. He was influenced by the doctrines of Philippe Buonarroti and Étienne Cabet. In the 1830s and 40s Laponneraye was one of the best known advocates of republican communism. He is viewed as a forerunner of Karl Marx. Albert Dulin de Laponneraye, plus connu sous le nom d’Albert Laponneraye, né le 8 mai 1808 à Tours, mort le 1er septembre 1849 à Marseille, est un homme de lettres et homme politique français, militant républicain et socialiste. Historien, essayiste politique, journaliste, militant révolutionnaire, admirateur de Robespierre, Laponneraye a passé plusieurs années en prison. Albert Laponneraye (Tours, 1808-Marsella, 1849) fue un periodista, historiador y ensayista político republicano y socialista francés. Gran admirador de Robespierre, se le suele encuadrar dentro del grupo de los neobabuvistas, que toman como referente el comunismo de François Babeuf y su Conspiración de los Iguales de 1797.
