- جزيرة تيبنغ تينجي هي جزيرة تقع في مضيق ملقا قبالة الساحل الشمالي لمقاطعة رياو في سومطرة بإندونيسيا.وينبغي عدم الخلط بينها وبين مدينة تيبنغ تينجي الواقعة في سومطرة الشمالية. تقع جزيرة بادانغ غربها مباشرة ، وتقع جزيرة رانغسانغ جنوبها. مركزها في مدينة سيلات بانجانغ (Selat Panjang). ومن المدن والقرى الأخرى على الجزيرة:
* بينغكيكيت
* ميرباو
* مينغكودو
* سينغايتوهور
* ماياو وهي مدن ساحلية
* ديريمي ، وهي داخلية ليست على الساحل. (ar)
- Pulau Tebing Tinggi adalah satu pulau di Provinsi Riau yang terletak di perairan pesisir timur Pulau Sumatra, dikelilingi oleh laut dan selat. Berseberangan dengan Pulau Tebing Tinggi terdapat . Kota terbesar di Pulau Tebing Tinggi adalah Kota Selat Panjang yaitu ibu kota dari Kecamatan . Kota lainnya adalah Alai yaitu ibu kota dari Kecamatan . Total penduduk yang mendiami pulau ini mencapati 70.000 jiwa. Pulau Tebing Tinggi merupakan daerah dataran rendah dengan mayoritas berupa lahan gambut sehingga air bersih sangat sulit. Sumber air bersih yang utama adalah air hujan.
