Ανάμεσα στα καθήκοντα του ήταν να εκτελεί ένα σάλτο και σφύριγμα και μια κλανιά (Unum saltum et siffletum et unum bumbulum) για τον βασιλιά και τους καλεσμένους του κατά την περίοδο των Χριστουγέννων.
