Im Verfassungsschutzbericht des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen über das Jahr 2011 wurde pro Deutschland im Bereich Rechtsextremismus genannt. Demnach bestanden Anhaltspunkte für den Verdacht extremistischer Bestrebungen. Sie war Teil der Pro-Bewegung. Am 11. November 2017 hat Pro Deutschland ihre Auflösung beschlossen und ihre Mitglieder aufgefordert, zur AfD zu wechseln. (de)

Manfred Rouhs, exmilitante del Partido Nacionaldemócrata de Alemania, fue elegido su primer presidente. El partido estaba vinculado a los Movimientos Ciudadanos Pro Colonia y Pro NRW que sólo estaban activos en la ciudad de Colonia y en el estado de Renania del Norte-Westfalia, respectivamente. En su noveno congreso ordinario celebrado en Wuppertal, el partido optó por disolverse el 11 de noviembre de 2017. (es)
- The Pro Germany Citizens' Movement (German: Bürgerbewegung pro Deutschland) was a far-right political party in Germany. It was founded in Cologne on 20 January 2005 after Pro Cologne members had been elected to the Cologne City Council. , treasurer of the Pro Cologne movement and former candidate of the German League for People and Homeland and the National Democratic Party of Germany, was elected its first chairman. The federal party convent decided at its ninth ordinary meeting in Wuppertal on 11 November 2017 to dissolve the party. The party was linked to the citizens' movements Pro Cologne and Pro NRW that are only active in the city of Cologne and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, respectively. (en)
