- بريسيلا هانا بيكوفر (بالإنجليزية: Priscilla Hannah Peckover) (27 أكتوبر 1833 - 8 سبتمبر 1931) كانت إنجليزية منتمية إلى جمعية الأصدقاء الدينية (الكويكرز)، وسلامية، ولغوية، من عائلة مصرفية ثرية. بعد أن اعتنت ببنات أخيها الأرمل الثلاث، شاركت في الأربعينيات من عمرها في الحركة السلامية. أسست جمعية ويسبيك للسلام المحلي التي وصل عدد أعضائها إلى 6,000 عضو. نشطت على المستوى الوطني في جمعية السلام، وعملت مع جماعات سلام في دول أخرى. موّلت صحيفة بيس آند غودويل: أ سيكول تو ذا أوليف ليف (السلام والنوايا الحسنة: تتمة لمجلة أوليف ليف) وحررتها لخمسين عامًا تقريبًا، وموّلت نشر نسخة من الكتاب المقدس بلغة الإسبرانتو. رُشحت لنيل جائزة نوبل للسلام أربع مرات. - Priscilla Hannah PECKOVER [prisila hana pekover] (naskiĝis la 27-an de oktobro 1833 en Wisbech, Kambriĝŝiro; mortis la 8-an de septembro 1931 samloke) estis angla esperantistino. Ŝi estis kvakerino kaj pacifisto. Ŝi fondis lokan pacifisman asocion kaj ĝismorte subtenis multajn bonfarajn movadojn. Krome ŝi tradukis danan pacifisman literaturon al la angla. Ŝi esperantistiĝis en 1906. Grandparte al la financa helpo de ŝi kaj ŝia fratino Algerina oni ŝuldas la eldonon de la Biblio en Esperanto kaj de diversaj Bibliaj kaj aliaj Esperantaj eldonaĵoj. Ambaŭ fratinoj financis ankaŭ la tradukon de la famo romano »Die Waffen nieder!« de la aŭstra baronino Bertha von Suttner, kiu estis fintradukita sub la titolo »For la batalilojn« de Armand Caumont el Lozano en marto 1914. En la antaŭparolo citas Georg Arnhold telegramon de Bertha von Suttner al la Esperanto-Societo en Dresden, kie ŝi skribis la faman frazon "Esperanto kaj Pacifismo estas gekuzoj". Priscilla Hannah Peckover estas inter la 83 famaj pacifistoj, kiujn mencias Alfred Hermann Fried en sia "Handbuch der Friedensbewegung" (Manlibro de la pacmovado). (eo)

After helping to raise the three daughters of her widowed brother, in her forties she became involved in the pacifist movement.She founded the Wisbech Local Peace Association, which grew to have 6,000 members. She was active at a national level with the Peace Society and worked with pacifist groups in several other countries.She funded and edited the journal Peace and Goodwill: a Sequel to the Olive Leaf for almost fifty years, and funded publication of an Esperanto version of the Bible.She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize on four occasions.
