- Caméra Café is a French-born concept of comedy television series exported around the world. Two movie spin-offs have been made in France under the titles of Espace détente and Le Séminaire. It was originally a French television show created by Bruno Solo, Yvan Le Bolloc'h, and Alain Kappauf and it was broadcast from September 2001 to December 2004 on the M6 channel. 700 episodes of 3 minutes each have been produced and were broadcast again on M6 in 2004. The show revolves around a dysfunctional office. Its originality stems from the fact that, within the fiction, the camera is fixed into the automated coffee machine of the office space. The title is a French pun on "Caméra Cachée", (literally "hidden camera", or Candid Camera for the related TV show). (en)

La série est diffusée de septembre 2001 à décembre 2004 sur M6 et régulièrement rediffusée par la suite sur la même chaîne, mais aussi W9, 6ter, Paris Première, Série Club en France et Club RTL en Belgique francophone. Une nouvelle série, Caméra Café 2 : La Boîte du dessus, mettant en scène de nouveaux personnages et se déroulant cette fois dans l'entreprise « Digix », concurrente de celle de la série originale, est diffusée en 2010 toujours sur M6 mais, faute d'audience, est arrêtée trois mois plus tard. La serie, ideata da Bruno Solo, e , è stata originariamente trasmessa tra il 2001 e il 2003; da essa sono stati tratti due film: Espace Détente (2005) e Le Séminaire - Caméra Café (2009). Nel 2010 la serie ha cambiato il titolo in Caméra Café 2: La Boîte du dessus, o alternativamente Caméra Café 2, a causa del totale rinnovo del cast artistico. La nuova versione della sitcom è stata trasmessa sempre su M6 dal 18 gennaio e in seguito interrotta il 12 febbraio a causa dei bassi ascolti. (it)
