Wuchale (Amharic: ውጫሌ), also spelled Uccialli, is a town in northern Ethiopia. Located about 40 km north of Dessie in the Debub Wollo Zone of the Amhara Region, this town has a latitude and longitude of 11°30′N 39°36′E / 11.500°N 39.600°E and an elevation of 1711 m. It is the largest settlement in Ambassel woreda and is located along Ethiopian Highway 2.

Quando era un feudo della regina Taytu, l'ambasciatore italiano Pietro Antonelli incontrò l'imperatore Menelik II ad Uccialli poco dopo la morte in Battaglia di Giovanni IV. I due stati fecero un accordo conosciuto come il trattato di Uccialli, il 2 maggio 1889. Esso sanciva le relazioni fra i due paesi fino all'inizio della nuova espansione coloniale italiana verso l'Etiopia di Francesco Crispi, che portò alla sconfitta di Adua. (it)
