Huazhou or Hua Prefecture was a zhou (prefecture) in imperial China seated in modern Hua County, Shaanxi, China. It existed (intermittently) from 554 to 1913. Through history it was also known by other names, including Tai Prefecture (685–705, 760–762), Huayin Commandery (742–758) and Dexing Prefecture (897–900).

(en) 華州（かしゅう）は、中国にかつて存在した州。南北朝時代から民国初年にかけて、現在の陝西省渭南市一帯に設置された。 (ja) 华州，中国古代设置的一个州，治所在今陝西省渭南市华州区。西魏废帝二年（553年），改东雍州设置华州，治所在华县（今陕西省渭南市华州区西南）。隋朝大业初年，改爲華陰郡。唐朝武德初复置华州，治所在郑县（今渭南市华州区）。圣历后辖境约当今陕西省渭南市华州区、华阴、潼关等县市及的下邽镇附近地区。天宝元年（742年）改华阴郡，乾元元年（758年）复改华州。乾宁四年（897年）升为兴德府。光化元年（898年）复为华州。之後辖境屡有变迁。明朝时，华州属西安府。洪武七年（1374年）五月，商州的雒南县改属华州。成化十三年（1477年）三月，复属商州。终明一朝，华州下领两县：华阴县、蒲城县。清朝初年，仍属于西安府。雍正三年（1725年），升为，华阴县、蒲城县隶之。雍正十三年（1735年），仍爲不辖县的散州，改属同州府。民国初年，全国废府州厅改县，1913年华州降为华县。 (zh)
