The Bolivian Workers' Center (Spanish: Central Obrera Boliviana, COB) is the chief trade union federation in Bolivia. It was founded in 1952 following the national revolution that brought the Revolutionary Nationalist Movement to power. The most important affiliate of the COB was the Union Federation of Bolivian Mine Workers (FSTMB). From 1952 to 1987, the COB was led by the legendary Juan Lechín, who was also head of the FSTMB. In its heyday it was arguably the strongest independent labour movement in the world.

Sie wurde im Jahre 1952 gegründet, nachdem das Movimiento Nacionalista Revolucionario durch eine Revolution an die Macht gekommen war. Die stärkste Mitgliedsgruppe des COB war die Federación Sindical de Trabajadores Mineros de Bolivia FSTMB (dt. Gewerkschaft der bolivianischen Minenarbeiter), welche 1946 mit den „Pulacayo-Thesen“ ein revolutionäres, trotzkistisch inspiriertes und über gewerkschaftliche Fragen hinausgehendes Programm verabschiedet hatte. Ha sido considerada como unos de los principales aliados al partido Movimiento al Socialismo liderado por Evo Morales Ayma debido a sus apoyos dentro del sindicato, la cual ha sido criticada por políticos opositores y exdirigentes obreros. Durante la crisis del 2019 tras las elecciones generales el 20 de octubre cuyos resultados fueron contestados con protestas pidieron al entonces presidente Morales que renunciara a la presidencia. En agosto de 2020 mantuvieron las protestas contra el retraso de los nuevos comicios que debían inicialmente celebrarse en mayo y posteriormente en septiembre reclamando como ultimátum la (es) La Centrale ouvrière bolivienne (en espagnol: Central Obrera Boliviana, COB) est la principale centrale syndicale de Bolivie. Elle est fondée en 1952 à la suite de la Révolution nationale qui amène le Mouvement nationaliste révolutionnaire au pouvoir. Le membre principal de la centrale est la (FSTMB). De 1952 à 1987, la COB est dirigée par Juan Lechín Oquendo qui était aussi à la tête de la FSTMB. (fr)
