| - Emil Antoni Korytko (7 September 1813 – 31 January 1839) was a Polish political activist in the period of the Great Emigration, who was exiled to Ljubljana, Carniola (now Slovenia) and became an important ethnographer, philologist and translator there. His legacy are collections of Slovene folk songs and vivid descriptions of Carniolan folk customs. He significantly contributed to the mutual dialogue between Polish and Slovene authors and readers. - Emil Antoni Korytko ( bij , Galicië, 7 september 1813 - Ljubljana, Slovenië, 31 januari 1839) was een Pools etnograaf. Korytko werd vanwege zijn openlijke oppositie tegen het beleid van Metternich uit Galicië naar Ljubljana verbannen. Hij kwam in 1837 in de hoofdstad van Krain aan en stond er onder huisarrest. Hij raakte er bekend met de familie Crobath, waar ook de dichter-advocaat France Prešeren aan huis kwam. Deze twee raakten bevriend en leerden elkaars taal. Hij liet Prešeren werk van Adam Mickiewicz vertalen en France Prešeren maakte hem op zijn beurt bekend met de Sloveense verteltradities en volksverhalen. Emil Korytko overleed kort voor het bericht over de opheffing van zijn huisarrest hem bereikte in 1839 aan tyfus. (nl)
- Emil Antoni Korytko herbu Jelita (ur. 7 września 1813 we Lwowie, zm. 31 stycznia 1839 w Lublanie) – polski etnograf, powstaniec, działacz niepodległościowy. Urodził się w rodzinie szlacheckiej jako syn Józefa Stanisława i Rudolfiny z Rubczyńskich. Studiował filozofię we Lwowie. Był uczestnikiem powstania listopadowego. Na podstawie donosu został zatrzymany w 1837 roku we Lwowie, mimo szczegółowego dochodzenia nie znaleziono dowodów obciążających; za działalność konspiracyjną, został zesłany na przymusowy pobyt w Lublanie wraz z Bogusławem Horodyńskim.
