Borovec pri Kočevski Reki (pronounced [bɔˈɾɔːʋəts pɾi kɔˈtʃeːu̯ski ˈɾeːki]; German: Morobitz, Gottscheerish: Mərobits) is a settlement in the Municipality of Kočevje in southern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. It also includes the former villages of Draga (Suchen), Ravne (Eben), Pleš (Plösch), and Inlauf (Inlauf) as hamlets. The former village of (or Ajbig, German: Eibig) was annexed by Borovec pri Kočevski Reki on 30 January 1953.
