Satawali is a census town in Lanja-Taluka Ratnagiri district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Satavali is a village about 12 miles up the Muchkundi Creek, surrounded, though not shut in, by high hills. It is a very beautiful village situated 19 km away from Bombay-Goa highway. The village is in a valley with a river called Muchkundi. The speciality of the village is its unity of Hindu-Muslim religions. Nearby cities: Lanja, Rajapur and Ratnagiri
