- Der Hezil Çayı (arabisch نهر الهيزل, DMG Nahr al-Hayzal, auch Hezil Suyu) ist ein rechter Nebenfluss des Chabur Çayı im Südosten der Türkei entlang der Grenze zum Irak. Der Hezil Çayı entspringt an der Nordflanke des 3231 m hohen im Ost-Taurus, etwa 10 km nordnordöstlich von Uludere. Er durchfließt den Süden der Provinz Şırnak. Er fließt anfangs in nördlicher Richtung, wendet sich später nach Westen und Südwesten. Schließlich strömt er nach Süden an der Siedlung vorbei. Westlich von mündet der von links. Der Hezil Çayı erreicht nach weiteren 20 km die Grenze zum Irak und bildet bis zu seiner Mündung in den Chabur Çayı die Grenzlinie. (de)
- The Hezil Suyu (Arabic: نهر الهيزل Nahr al-Hayzal, or Hezil Çayı or the Nizil river, in Turkish language suyu means water of) is a river in south-eastern Turkey in the Eastern Anatolia Region which flows entirely in the Şırnak Province and is part of the natural border between Turkey and the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Just before it forms the border, it is dammed by the Silopi Dam. Just west of the city of Zakho in Iraq, it joins the Little Khabur river, which then forms the border. The Hezil Suyu river is not to be mistaken with the Little Khabur riverwhich is tributary to the Tigris riverand flows east of Zakho city and goes through the Zakho city joining its tributary the Hezil Suyu west of Zakho city. - Il fiume Hezil Suyu (anche Hezil Çayı oppure fiume Nizil, in lingua turca suyu significa acqua) è un fiume della Turchia sud-orientale nella Regione dell'Anatolia Orientale che scorre interamente nella Provincia di Şırnak e fa da confine tra la Turchia e l'Iraq. Il fiume Hezil Suyu non scorre in territorio Iracheno e non attraversa la città di Zakho ed è situato a ovest e a nord-ovest della città Irachena di Zakho e scorre completamente in territorio Turco. Il fiume Hezil Suyu non è da essere confuso con il fiume affluente del Tigri il Piccolo Khabur che scorre a est della città di Zakho e la attraversa unendosi poi al suo affluente Hezil Suyu a ovest di essa.
