- Die Magazine zum Globus AG (französisch Grands Magasins Globus SA, italienisch Grandi Magazzini Globus SA) ist ein Schweizer Detailhandelsunternehmen. Das im Jahr 1907 gegründete Unternehmen gehörte von 1997 bis 2020 zum Migros-Konzern. Im Jahr 2019 wurde bekannt, dass die Migros Globus veräussern will. Am 3. Februar 2020 wurde der Verkauf an ein Joint-venture der österreichischen Signa Holding und der thailändischen Central Group vertraglich besiegelt. Der Globus-Verkauf umfasst neben 100 % des Kapitals der Aktiengesellschaft auch acht dazu gehörende Immobilien in Zürich, Basel, Bern und St. Gallen. Die Transaktion wurde im Mai 2020 abgeschlossen. Dem Gemeinschaftsunternehmen gehören bereits The KaDeWe Group (Kaufhaus des Westens, Alsterhaus, Oberpollinger) in Deutschland, La Rinascente in Italien und in Dänemark. Die Hauptstandorte der Globus-Kaufhäuser befinden sich in allen Schweizer Grossstädten, namentlich in Basel, Bern, Genf, Lausanne und Zürich. (de)

- La Globus è una catena di grandi magazzini svizzera. È stata fondata nel 1907 dal banchiere come società continuatrice della Webers Bazar, una società creata nel 1881 da Josef Weber. Nel 1922 l'impresa ha esteso la sua attività anche all'estero. Nel 1932 è stato creato a scopo pubblicitario il personaggio a fumetti Globi, i cui libri sono stati pubblicati con grande successo dalla casa editrice omonima fondata nel 1944. Nel 1956 è stata fondata la rete di piccole filiali Au Bon Marché (ABM), l'ultima delle quali è stata chiusa nel 2001. Sotto la guida dell'amministratore Hans H. Mahler, dal 1963 è stata attuata una diversificazione mirata, che ha portato all'istituzione di filiali specializzate nella vendita di prodotti per ufficio, prodotti d'arredo e prodotti d'abbigliamento.
