The 2019 President of the Federal Senate of Brazil election took place on 2 February 2019, originally one day before, following the opening day of the 56th Legislature of the National Congress, almost four months after the 2018 elections. The Acting President of the Federal Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (DEM–AP), administered the oath of office of the members of the Senate and the Dean of the Federal Senate, José Maranhão (MDB–PB), administered the session of election for President.

A eleição para a presidência do Senado Federal ocorreu entre os dias 2 e 3 de fevereiro, e elegeu Davi Alcolumbre para a sucessão de Eunício Oliveira ao cargo. Para o presidente ser eleito, é necessária a maioria absoluta dos votos, ou seja, 41 votos de 81 senadores. Considerada uma das eleições mais tumultuadas e concorridas desde a redemocratização, teve nove candidatos a princípio, porém três renunciaram antes do início do escrutínio. Concorreram os senadores Ângelo Coronel (PSD-BA), Fernando Collor (PROS-AL), Davi Alcolumbre (DEM-AP), Reguffe (sem partido/DF) e Renan Calheiros (MDB-AL), sendo que este último também renunciou antes da realização do pleito.
