De Alexander Herzenstichting of Alexander Herzen Foundation is een in 1969 opgerichte stichting die als doel had dissidente sovjetliteratuur in het Westen uit te (laten) geven in de oorspronkelijke taal of in vertaling. Initiatiefnemer was de slavist Karel van het Reve (1921-1999). De Alexander Herzenstichting is er als eerste in geslaagd om in de Westerse wereld onder anderen de toenmalige sovjetdissidenten Andrej Amalrik, Joeli Daniel, , Andrej Sinjavski en uit te geven. De stichting is opgeheven in 1998. The Alexander Herzen Foundation (in Dutch: Alexander Herzenstichting) was a non-profit foundation, legally established in 1969 in Amsterdam, dedicated to publish samizdat manuscripts from dissidents in the former Soviet Union in the original language or in translation. The Alexander Herzen Foundation was the first to publish accounts of the Sinyavsky-Daniel trial and the works of Andrei Amalrik, Yuli Daniel, Larisa Bogoraz, Andrei Sinyavsky, Pavel Litvinov and others in the West. The Foundation was ended legally in 1998.
